Jade! Where have you been since forever?’ Claire barked over the phone as she spoke to Jade. Jade's heart raced as she knew the kind of boss she had. Claire was so hard to please that it would take an extra professional effort to please her. She had called Jade urgently because Jade was late to submit the receipts of the recently sold artifacts. Without delay, Jade took the receipts and ran to Claire’s office, nearly stumbling on one of the small tables displayed for various purposes. Jade knocked on Claire’s door and a tiny yet commanding voice ushered her in. ‘Ohh Claire! I’m very sorry for the delay, I had to get my hands on a few things at the shop and I forgot’, Jade said but Claire was so engrossed with her reading action that all she did was wave at Jade, telling her to stop her explaining. ‘This is not the complete receipt, we sold more quantities the previous week, how come there are only four records here?’ Jade was fed up with all of Claire’s frustrating questions, that was the umpteenth time she would be explaining that to Claire and she was more or less stuttering while trying to explain again. It dawned on Claire that Jade had relayed the info to her before, and she corroborated it by telling her to go back to what she was overseeing. Claire, a woman of striking elegance and commanding presence, ruled the art world with a grace that matched the masterpieces within her gallery.
