About this ebook

Valeria was a budding artist fascinated by the myths and mysteries of the underworld. Her art reflected a dark and mystical genre, mostly consisting of vampires and other creatures thought to be simply fantasy. Even though she really wanted to believe that vampires were real, she had always known this world was one of pure imagination and folklore. That was until she met Max. Her deepest dreams and worst fears were realized the moment she found out that vampires really did exist. Not only did they exist but she had met and fallen in love with one, and he with her. What happened next was a dangerous journey into a forbidden realm of sex, secrecy, and deception that brought them to one poignant moment that changed everything.

    Introducing Valeria

Eden, Maryland population 799, a town so small that if you drive through too quickly, you might miss that you were ever there. At the end of Chesapeake Court sits a beautiful little cottage on 12 acres of waterfront property. The property was left to a young artist named Valeria Moldova by her grandmother who had recently passed away. Valeria studied in New York but like many artists, she was not finding it easy to make a living in the big city. Moving into the cottage her grandmother left her would give her a chance to work uninterruptedly on her art. Valeria loved being a New Yorker. What’s not to love? The city provides an endless array of things to do. The music, art and theatre alone are enough to fill a lifetime. It’s one of the few cities in the world that has 24/7 public transportation, beautiful parks, rooftop bars and the food, oh the food. However, many of the people she knew saw a different side of life there. Their lives were full of struggle trying to make ends meet. Living in her grandmother’s cottage would afford her a life without the worries of working multiple jobs and trying to pay bills. Plus, New York City is only a few hours away by car and even less by train.

Valeria did have the concern of having a venue to show her pieces. The nearest town that had a gallery where Valeria’s work could be displayed was Fruitland. Her goal was to put together a large enough collection to be able to carry a full show all by herself at the gallery. There was only one real issue possibly blocking Valeria’s potential success in the art world. Her work was very edgy and centered a lot around sex, death and Vampires. It definitely was not what you would expect coming from a small town and would most certainly have to have a certain niche following to gain popularity. Fruitland didn’t seem to be the type of place where she would find her clients but she had to start somewhere. Valeria couldn’t be placed into any one demographic category because she had such an exotic look about her. Her eyes, hair and skin were all almost the same rich honey color. She could pass for biracial, Mediterranean, South American or even Egyptian. The only word that comes close to describing her would be breathtakingly stunning.

The cottage where Valeria lived sat on the edge of Wicomico Creek. Large windows allowed natural light into every room. It was a perfect place for an artist to be able to work in a natural environment and completely give themselves over to free expression. Since she was in the middle of 12 acres with no neighbors for miles, she freely expressed herself in many interesting ways all over the house, in the garden and by the water. This particular morning Valeria was lying in the hammock under her favorite oak tree. She was still wearing the camisole that she had slept in. As the morning sunlight kissed her skin, she felt an overwhelming urge to touch herself. There was no one around to see and she let herself go. One hand began to caress her breasts and the other found it’s way down her stomach and into her panties. As she began to rub herself, her legs parted allowing her finger to dip inside. She rubbed herself and fingered herself until she let out a soft moan. Valeria loved to start her days with a nice relaxing orgasm. Being out in the middle of nowhere was the perfect setting to indulge her desires.

As she worked on her collection, she focused on pieces with faces and piercing eyes. The eyes glowed with brilliant reds, bright blues and rich yellows. The eyes seemed to look right into the very soul of the person looking back. Some of the images showed the fangs and even blood dripping from the fangs of the creatures of the night. Valeria had an uncanny ability to capture the realism of things thought to be unreal, or were they?

Being at the cottage, Valeria was able to produce a great deal of work in a very short period of time. It was only six months until she was ready to showcase her talent. It took some convincing for the gallery in Fruitland to accept such a potentially controversial show but once they did, the curator had done a wonderful job of marking her show and everyone was expecting a full turn out of the art community. As the day approached, Valeria was very anxious but excited at the same time.

The night of the opening, Valeria wore the perfect little black dress. She wanted to keep the feel of the show without going too extreme. Basic black is always a safe bet for an after five even weather formal or casual. Many of the people who came to the opening were Goth and obviously traveled to be at this show. Some were high society people with obvious fetish preferences and then some were just strange. Valeria didn’t care as long as they bought the artwork. There were a few of her professors from school and a few friends who came to support her big debut. She was very glad to see them but mostly just to let them see how hard she had been working and that she had officially arrived.

There was a large poster with Valeria’s photo and bio when you walked into the gallery so the guests recognized her and many came up to her during the night to talk about the show. She was receiving wonderful feedback and so many great questions about her inspiration that her head was spinning. However, the open bar may have also had a little to do with that. Valeria had to hold back her laughter and facial expressions of some of the people who came in dressed up like vampires. They were so over done that they looked utterly ridiculous. Some were sporting capes, red lipstick and powdery white skin. This was a gallery show opening, not Halloween! Just then a man walked in wearing a full length black London Fog Trench Coat. She didn’t know what type of material it was but it moved like the wind, almost as if it were in
