On Friday, October 6th, Emilie was on Instagram Live to discuss the devastating events of the 7th, which occurred two and a half hours after thousands of Hamas terrorists invaded Israel. Emilie was unsure of what she was hearing, but she knew it was real and dangerous. Emilie stayed up all night, piecing together stories from the South of Israel, which were the same stories heard from her grandparents about what had happened to them in Europe. Emilie noticed that Emilie had been posting about the tragedy on Instagram for hours, wearing the same outfit. Emilie asked Emilie to go on IG Live to share her experiences and knowledge about the situation. Emilie agreed, and they spent about an hour discussing the events of the 7th, with Emilie providing context on the events. Emilie asked Emilie what she could do to help, and Emilie responded by asking Emilie to stop what she was doing and check on her Jewish friends.
