Duchess Brittany Bethany Joan Carroll eschews modern feminine trends and still wears stockings, sensible shoes, full length slips, panty girdles, and interlock panties with elasticated legs. A strait-laced prude, it escapes Bethany that the Good Lord had, in his wisdom deemed that procreation should be via the nether regions.

On one such occasion, when Brittany required some items of underwear. She traveled by train to her beloved Lingerie Emporium and found it was now a Tanning Salon. When she enquired where she should go for the items, she required she was told it was necessary to travel about thirty minutes by taxi to the Lingerie Boutique in Foadey Lane.

Ms. Paddington, the owner graciously urged her wander around the displays. Garments that only the day before she would have dismissed as frippery, she found some quite attractive, some she never knew existed. The panties on display surprised her, thongs, 'G-strings, bikinis. Bethany had preferred cotton stockings, tights in nylon caught her eye. At lunch, Ms. Paddington invited her to stay. During lunch with Ms. Paddington Brittany learned of her unique background, and the strange traits of her eighteen-year-old companion.

Duchess Bethany Joan Carroll , aged forty-three, known as Carping Carroll amongst the county set, of whom she should have been a stalwart instead of a figure of ridicule, turned towards the mounted mirror in her bedroom. She considered the mirror to be somewhat flamboyant but as it was an antique given by her great Grandmother she had kept it. The rest of the bedroom did not reflect any kind of femininity whatsoever even though the room was not shared with her husband Duke Stefan.

At that moment, her husband called out to her, that he had to be leaving for the office, as he was late reminding her that he was giving her a lift to the railway station although why she chose not to use her own car was a mystery to him.

I do not need to be reminded Stefan she snapped, we have plenty of time.

Turning back to the mirror she looked at herself critically - by her standards. A rather severe gray tweed suit, a white blouse with an open collar, black stockings, sensible shoes and should anyone have the audacity to look they would have found that she was wearing a full length slip, a panty girdle, and interlock panties with elasticated legs.

Once in the car, for sake of a little conversation Stefan had the impudence to ask where she was going.
