From the Cradle to the Present
I had no clue of what was going on at the cradle. However, as time progressed, my knowledge began to open up that I wanted to know what was beyond my neck of the woods, thus I became more aware of what I needed to know.
I started school and it was all a great opportunity to begin to comprehend such a task. I still want to know more about the who, what, where when, how and the why. I was like a sponge, just soaking it all up. It’s known to be the truth; the mind is to pressure to waste on nothing.
I wanted to obtain as much knowledge as I could. While in grade school I was doing some artwork for the school. When I was in high school, I continued artwork. My teachers told me to continue art school. After high school, I enrolled at Virginia Union University where I received an Associate Degree in Christian Education. Following this, I joined the United States Marine Corps. After my service, I enrolled at Andersonville Baptist Seminary. At Andersonville, I earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies, and subsequently obtained a Doctorate in Christian Education. Additionally, I pursued art studies through home art classes, earning a certificate. During this time, I balanced my studies with teaching Christian Education, maintaining a busy schedule.
I wanted to learn how to fly airplanes, so I completed flight school. Subsequently, I operated three trucks on the road. There was a lot on my bucket list but I persevered without giving up. As the old saying goes, Quitters never win, but winners never quit.
I have traveled to many countries just to see what the world looks like from a different view. I still have a lot on my bucket list to do. Never let anything come between you and your state of mind. Never put off today for tomorrow, because there’s no tomorrow.
Life’s challenges may thrust you into unfamiliar territory, but stand tall, face them head-on, and persevere. I find great depth in the history of the Old Testament, with its invaluable lessons. The Old Testament lays the groundwork, while the New Testament builds upon it, pointing to the completion of God’s work through Jesus on the cross, offering salvation.
Some believe that God owes them something, but in truth, it was Jesus’s sacrifice on Calvary that grants us freedom
