    Most people don't know that Canada has always been a hotbed of inventions and innovation, from basketball and insulin to the Canadarm on the space shuttle, which are all well known. Many things that are a part of our everyday life today were invented in Canada. The list is extensive, and in this book, I'm going to make a start with what I think are the 20 inventions that are relatively unknown as Canadian discoveries.
