    INTRODUCTION

    Before I encountered Christ, my life was consumed by my inability to forgive. My name is John, and I was once known for holding grudges tighter than the most secure vault. The turning point came when a friend borrowed my favorite tool without asking. He returned it late and damaged. I was livid, and my response was cold silence. For weeks, I wouldn't speak to him, trapped in my own anger and convinced of my righteousness in this feud.

    Despite his apologies and offers to replace the tool, I couldn't let go of my resentment. It festered inside me like a disease, slowly poisoning my relationships with others. I started snapping at my loved ones over trivial matters, unable to see how my bitterness was isolating me further.

    Time passed, and eventually, my friend moved away. We never reconciled. He was gone, but my anger lingered like a ghost in my life. Years rolled by, and I remained shackled by my refusal to forgive, becoming more bitter and isolated with each passing day. I was blind to the fact that my unforgiveness was not just pushing others away; it was consuming my inner peace.

    As I sat alone, surrounded by the walls I had built with my own resentments, I realized I had missed countless opportunities to mend fences and to forge meaningful connections. My inability
