About this ebook

This book is about a twin flames connection, something I have

been searching for for so long, which I eventually gave up on, but

at least I got to keep it etched as a memory in the form of a book.

    Chapter 1 - Flaming Twins

    I

n a magical land far, far away from the human eye's reach exists all sorts of mystical creatures, magical beings, moon souls, crystal people, spiritual beings, and ancient beings, even gods and goddesses. A place called Maravilha, but deep in the beautiful world of Maravilha something grimly was unravelling from the shadows.

A young Zulu man, 19 years of age, ran through the jungle, jumping and swinging everywhere trying to get away from a vicious predator of the jungle. The young man ran too fast for any human being, he was too quick to keep up with but the predator did not give up chasing him. It chased him through the jungle and neither the young man nor the predator seemed to be anywhere near getting tired out. He was a light skin lively young man, he only wore a pair of black furry pants around his waist that reached his knees, and he had short afro nappy hair, his eyes were solid black — almost as if his pupils were merged with his irises, the solid black evading the sclera. He didn't wear any shoes, but even so, he didn't get cuts under his feet as he ran barefoot through the jungle.

The young man saw ahead a wide area of quick sand and sped up toward it.  He jumped as though his legs were made of springs and was able to jump over the 30 feet quick sand and landed on the other side. He rolled on the ground until his momentum was stopped by a big tree, while on the ground he looked up and saw something fly by swiftly past him twice as fast as him. He got up and dusted himself off, with confidence that he had lost the hidden predator that was chasing him. He kneeled down to gather the momentum to use his spring-like legs to jump. As he was about to jump he saw in the distant the quick sand splashing everywhere as the predator made its way toward him. He had hoped the quick sand would mire the predator. Seeing from the large amount of mire the predator spread it was evident that the predator was a huge creature.

The young man jumped high and was able to grab ahold of a branch, while he tried to get on top of the branch he saw the quick sand spreading even wider as the predator drew near him. He quickly got on the branch and leaped to another tree at the same time as the predator hit the tree with so much force the tree shook and leaves fell, this showed the monstrous strength of the predator. The young man was able to land onto the next branch, and without a second long on it he jumped to the next and continued jumping and swinging as the predator chased him relentlessly. The young man was suddenly out of branch footing, as he was in the air, he looked beneath him and saw that the ground had ended and all that was there was a big waterfall. He fell from the sky and the predator appeared from the bushes to capture him before he could reach the waterfall. The predator was a great white snake, so huge that the size of its open mouth was half the young man's height.

The snake was in length as long as three school buses, it had on its head backward-pointed purple horns that glistened. It stretched its mouth to eat the young man, concealing its enormous fangs. Seeing the great white snake, he closed his eyes at the same time the snake tackled him into its mouth, they both fell into the edge of the waterfall and caused a big splash when they reached the bottom of the waterfall.

There was no sound or movement for a while. Bubbles from under the stream appeared on the surface of the water and the young man popped up. He spat out the water. A young beautiful Swati woman, 18 years of age, with golden but soft skin, with long black hair that reached her lower back laughed at him, she had big crystal eyes that gripped the attention of anyone who dared to stare into them. She wore only a long red shirt that reached her knees as if it were a dress. She was levitating just above the surface of the water. She stuck her tongue out at the young man and the young man crossed his arms and growled at her. She laughed and flew around him. Don't be such a sour loser, Nkosana. Where's Soul? The young man, Nkosana (Prince) , reached out his arms to her and asked her to help him up.

The young woman raised one eyebrow, suspicious of Nkosana’s intentions. But you can't fly, what are you planning? She asked.

Nkosana pretended to be sad and submerged himself only exposing what were supposed to be sad puppy eyes. The young woman felt bad and her eyes gleamed, her bottom lip protruded, so she tried to hug him to make him feel better. The great white snake, Soul, quickly projected out of the water, this time it had decreased a little in size and length and fell on top of her along with Nkosana, taking them down to the bottom of the stream.

They both swam up to the surface, the woman's wet hair covered her face but she didn't try to fix it, Nkosana realized she wanted him to fix it so he pulled apart the hair from curtaining her face. The young woman's face was filled with rage, she scowled at Nkosana. As soon as Nkosana saw her she spit out water on his face and it got into his eyes. She frowned and said to him in a shaky voice, You tricked me, I thought you were sad, Nkosana wiped his eyes and swam closer to the young woman, he gently grabbed her cheeks and tried to make her smile with his thumbs, but she was too melancholic to come close to even getting her frown horizontal. Nkosana gently grabbed her face, closed his eyes and kissed her on the lips, the young woman blew out her cheeks to try and get him to stop kissing her, but he was persistent.

As Nkosana continued kissing her, the young woman surrendered and started kissing him back. In the middle of the kisses Nkosana whispered to her, I know, and it was fun. Then the young woman pushed him away and turned her back on him and frowned again. Soul appeared on the surface with a sad look on its face, sad to see the young woman unhappy. Nkosana swam toward her and started neatly tying her hair from behind.

He gave in, "Okay, Nomfazwe (Born during a war) . I'm sorry. You won, I didn't even get close to the second part of the jungle and Soul ate me, so I lost. Twice. And you're faster than me. Nomfazwe, the young woman, replied, What? You taught Soul how to trick me, too?" Then she rolled her eyes and gave in to a smile at Soul.

Soul's face lit up with happiness. The pet snake shrunk nigh to the size of a newly born snake and slithered up her arm to rub its face against her cheek. Nkosana finished tying Nomfazwe's hair, and he had tied it in pigtails.

They were interrupted by a loud lightning strike from the sky as the clouds gathered and began to form darkness. Nomfazwe sighed and looked sad, Nkosana swam around to face her and held her chin gently, and told her that it was okay. She closed her eyes and Nkosana kissed her on the forehead. You know, she still doesn't know about us. I don't think she'd ever accept us being together, neither would the others. Said Nomfazwe, slowly levitating out the water, she stopped in mid air and apologized to Nkosana. She asked Soul to get off of her.

Nkosana said, inconsiderately as if his tongue slipped, Yeah, she still believes that a goddess-to-be must be with a god-to-be, not an evil soul of the moon. Another lightning struck, like it was calling out to Nomfazwe or summoning her, and Nomfazwe said to Nkosana, in an even lower tone, I said I'm sorry. And instantly flew away toward the direction of the lightning strikes. His self-diming talk always made her sad. Nkosana whispered, It's not your fault, Nomfazwe. We'll go to a better place, I promise.

Nomfazwe was the child of a goddess that watched over the glorious world with three other gods and one other goddess. She was still the queen of the people of the Crystals, a big piece of land in that beautiful land of which all the beautiful human-like women lived, in the other half of that land were the human-like men who were ruled by a king of Crystals.

Only the royal Crystal children had golden, clear skin. Nomfazwe was being prepped to become a goddess—once she had done a few more tasks for her people, she would begin her ascension. Her mother did not believe that Nomfazwe, the queen, should be married by anyone else besides the king of the Crystal land, who was also brewing to become a god. Together, he and Nomfazwe would take over along with the other kings and queens of Maravilha and their parents would ascend to another realm and let them watch over the land as the generation's gods and goddesses. And the cycle would continue.

Nkosana, on the other hand, was neither a king nor a god. He was a soul of the moon. His kind came through the moon and fell upon the Maravilha land two thousand years ago, with the moon characteristics they were believed to be evil. The moon souls kind were very adept and powerful beings, they were quick to adapt to any environment they were exposed to and they thrived in the nighttime. But they were believed to have been bringing evil spirits into the world and with their pets being snakes, they were seen as a threat (as snakes were always viewed as a symbol of bad luck and evil in the Maravilha land by ignorant high authority, but this was an excuse for the fear of what the snakes were capable of).

Feeling threatened by the moon souls, the gods and the goddesses that came before, a thousand years ago, declared war against them. The war lasted for months and many souls, both from the gods and goddesses' people, and the moon souls died. One of the moon souls made a deal with the gods to grand him a wish to be like the gods' people and in return he'd show and tell them how to permanently destroy the moon souls' kind.

The deities made the deal and the mysterious traitor told them that they all, the moon souls, came from a far away galaxy and the moon was their only portal to Maravilha and their source of strength. The gods then destroyed the moon and massacred the moon souls, only very few of them survived and barely lived freely in Maravilha.

The traitor was about to be given his wish but with a trick, he would only be able to turn into a normal human-like being, specifically a Crystal person, during the day and at night he would be locked up in the kings and queens' dungeons. The traitor didn't like this so he denied the wish and tried fleeing, but he was captured and thrown into the dungeon without even receiving his wish.

Over time, the gods and goddesses saw how weak the moon souls had become without the moon and allowed the very few hundreds that existed to live in the land with the rest of the others, but with restricted movements, they weren't allowed in any of the royal castles — this was a law suggested by the haughty Crystal people. Nkosana was part of the very few left of his kind that were nearing extinction, and Soul was the last of its kind. In this world, at least.

That night Nkosana returned to his home with Soul sleeping on his palm. His home was a very small village with only twenty hoouses and all of which were huts. They were all painted solid black and it was hard to spot the features at night, but the moon souls thrived in the night, nighttime was like daytime to them. The Shadows, Nkosana’s home, got its name from the fact that they had small amount of light that the gods and goddesses sent down to Maravilha through the stars, it received the least or no light at all. Their only supply of a little bit of light through the practically pitch black nights were bonfires — and that was only on special occasions.

Nkosana walked up a steep field of grass and walked until he reached his house. He quietly snuck inside the house through the window, trying not to squash Soul in his hand. The lights turned on. His parents had been waiting for him next to his bed, and they were furious. Afaafa and Chrown. The interracial couple took Nkosana in when his family died when he was just three years old and raised him as their own since then. But the moon souls were all one big family, and everyone's child was everyone's and they were all very close. The moon souls' appearances were strikingly similar to those of goths and possessed humans.

What the gods and the goddesses didn't know was that the moon was not their only source of strength, but it was their most potent source of strength, darkness being the second, and the Glowing Lake being the third. Although the Glowing Lake was their least powerful source of strength, it had the longest effect for a power boost. The Glowing Lake was a small lake a couple of miles away from The Shadows, and it would glow all the time, displaying all colors of the rainbow, the moon souls would bathe in the lake—not drink it.

Chrown was tall, a bit bulky. He was Caucasian. He, too, so did Afaafa and the rest of the moon souls, had solid black eyes. He had done that Frank Grillo hairstyle with a thinly cropped beard, Chrown was the fastest living being in all of Maravilha. His wife, Afaafa, with braids on the sides of her head and big puffy hair in a mohawk style and a busty athletic body, was claimed the strongest living being in Maravilha, but the gods and the goddesses denounced it and claimed it wasn't true. She was famous for her dark skin among the moon souls, of course she was also well complemented for her plumpness and perkiness.  She was of Tanzanian culture.

Nkosana’s parents started yelling at him, telling him they were worried sick about him, that it was not safe for a moon soul to roam the Maravilha land alone, etc. All the things parents yell at their kids about when they arrive home late. But Nkosana was not a child, he was a young adult. He just sat on his bed with his head down as they continued yelling, he knew that what he had done was wrong and that his parents were justified to be upset with him, so he just kept quiet. Afaafa asked Chrown to talk to him, she had to rest since the next day she was going to the Mystical land to run some errands. Chrown sat next to Nkosana on the bed and asked him,

You've been seeing the goddess’s daughter again?

Subtly trying to admonish him of the gods and goddesses' reactions if they found out, Nkosana nodded. Chrown stood up and asked him to follow him outside, he wanted to show him something. Nkosana gently put Soul on his bed and followed Chrown out, as they were walking on the grass, Nkosana realized that they were heading in the direction of the Glowing Lake. He asked him what he wanted to show him there, but Chrown told him that it was something important. Eager to know what he wanted to tell him, Nkosana suggested that they race to the lake and Chrown accepted the challenge.

Off the two moon souls raced toward the Glowing Lake, Nkosana was losing very dismally as Chrown was way ahead of him until Nkosana couldn't see him anymore. Nkosana tried speeding up but he just could not catch up to him. Well, that was because Chrown was the fastest moon soul there was. He was known to be able to outrun any creature and every being in Maravilha. He would often times be given tasks to make deliveries from one land to another. Eventually, he took a job as a delivery man in Maravilha and he always made deliveries on time, never a second late.
