THE POEMS WHICH I WRITE
The poems which I write
are squeezed out of my mind
each time I’m in a plight….
Sometimes,
they drip out on their own
like drops of honey from a hive
when the bees are sleeping.
MORNING INSPIRATION
Like an innocuous snake
visiting to remove rodents from the garden,
the pen was discovered
amongst a sheaf of yellowing papers.
Its lined body felt cool, and supple.
Its wet mouth began to drool
tender lines
of early morning poetry.
DEAD ON ARRIVAL
Sometimes poems stumble into my head
mumble, fumble then tumble-down dead!
Such poems say nothing
Mean
