Interplanetary Poesy
W. J. Manares
In the vast cosmic expanse, where worlds collide,
There exists a realm where words abide.
Like stars on fire, each planet - a poet's realm, distinct and rare,
With moons as muses and comets as flair.
On Mercury's surface, where heat scorches the plains,
Eloquent haikus enchanted by the solar winds,
Words swirling in a delicate dance in the fiery blaze,
Sonnets arise, melting into the planetary embrace.
Lyrics of passion, whispered to the clouds,
Echoing through the atmosphere, loud.
Venus, the goddess of love and desire,
Bathing in the golden hues of twilight.
Mars, the crimson warrior, speaks in rhymes,
Battles of words composing epics of time.
Stanzas formed in the iron-clad heart,
Honoring valor, and sentiments apart.
In the symphony of gases, melodies unfold,
Echoes of grandeur, stories left untold
Jupiter, the giant, a majestic ballad,
Notes of thunderous tales, power unhindered.
Saturn's rings hum a celestial symphony,
Whispering secrets in cosmic harmony.
Verses of wonder, boundless and free,
Written in the gaps of eternity.
In the icy abyss, where inspiration dwells,
Poetry escapes, chiming ethereal bells.
Uranus, the enigmatic muse, paints with words.
Haunting verses that soar among the lost herds.
Neptune, the mystic - a poet's retreat,
Tidal verses rise and fall, bittersweet.
Words float in the depths, where dreams reside,
Whispering ballads with the ocean tides.
Lamenting verses, filled with longing and ache,
From the frigid depths, where worlds forsake.
Pluto, the distant dweller, hidden from sight,
A muse of darkness, cloaked in starlight.
Interplanetary poesy, a universe of rhyme,
Where supernovas burst, illuminating space and time.
From Mercury to Pluto, the poets unite,
Crafting celestial verses, their cosmic birthright.
Each planet tells a story, with words like galaxies,
Interwoven like constellations in the poet's reverie.
Interplanetary poesy, a cosmic
