    The wind howled a mournful song through the skeletal spires of Aethel, whistling a tune of forgotten glory and echoing the city's tragic demise. Seraphina, cloaked in weathered leather and defiance, clung to the wind-battered parapet, her emerald eyes scanning the endless expanse of the Azure Sea.

    Below, the city sprawled like a petrified giant, its once-gleaming marble edifices now bleached bone-white by the relentless sun. Aethel, once the crown jewel of the Azure isles, had been devoured by the sea a generation ago, swallowed whole in a cataclysmic storm. Now, only whispers remained, carried on the salty wind, taunting Seraphina with the ghosts of a bygone era.

    A glint of gold caught her eye. She squinted, momentarily blinded by the sun's harsh glare reflecting off the churning waves. There, breaching the surface, was a fragment of an immense golden statue - a severed arm, its fingers grasping defiantly towards the sky. It was a piece of Aethel's forgotten guardian, the legendary Sun Titan, protector of the Azure Isles.

    A surge of determination coursed through Seraphina. Legends spoke of a hidden chamber within the Sun Titan's remains, a chamber rumored to hold an artifact of immense power - the Sunstone.  It was the key to breaking the curse that plagued the Azure Isles, a curse that choked the land with an unnatural chill, stealing the sun's warmth and leaving the people cloaked in perpetual twilight.

    Seraphina wasn't born when the sea claimed Aethel, but the stories were etched in her very bones. Her grandmother, a renowned scholar who perished in the disaster, had spoken of the Sunstone in hushed
