About this ebook
In the battle against end times... A test of faith.
An ancient script of forgotten languages proves to be a work of prophetic warnings. Passed down through generations, the texts were partly deciphered by Maer- a farmer and the rightful heir - in 5BC. Not only did it foretell the coming of a star and the Son of God, but also contained a strange double meaning heralding another coming of equal significance far into the future. The order is continued to protect and preserve the second prophecy.
To the present day... Rachael Balsano owns a bookstore in the Austrian Alps, blissfully happy in her vocation until a strange book is returned. Ralph Balsano is a leading scientist at The European Environment Agency... coincidence? A foreign stranger, David, must convince the modern world- science itself - not only to listen to his story but to act upon it. Flame Tide... Cure? Or Curse?

The Breath of Change
––––––––
The ancients knew
And passed to few
A shepherd’s warning
Of impending doom
Crafted for man
A gift of sea and land
Lit by flaming star
With a finite plan
Though it still burned bright
Even through the night
The chance was wasted
By man’s lack of sight
Now far too late
To reverse their fate
The gift was revoked
With a sigh most great

Bodies must lay undisturbed, but false treasures may be taken. They will only serve to reward their illicit masters with temporary wealth.
He alone is tasked with weighing the circumstances and choosing when the time is right for the stones to be unearthed.
The shepherds will lead them well.

Genesis 28:10—... And he lighted upon the place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep.
Luke 1:35... and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called the Son of God.
Matthew 2:7... privily called the Wise-men, and learned of them exactly what time the star appeared.

Maer shook his head and ran his index finger over the ancient text again. Images of forefathers long since passed filled his mind. In the first instance, there could be no mistake.
A star previously unseen and brighter than all others shall appear in the night sky, and that which was foretold— promised, shall become a reality. The Son of God will appear before the broken and restore that which has been lost. Those who profess to be the wisest amongst mankind are aware of this coming—they shall pay homage and lead the way. They need not direction, for the place is already known, merely the sign of his coming.
The next part of the text was the cause of Maer’s concern. It was much older, written in a coded language that very few could read. Meant only for the eyes of a certain order.
It is a warning. Another side to the same prophecy...
Maer’s whispered words trailed off as a rustling noise outside interrupted his thoughts, and he ventured over to the window. He sighed and shook his head. A small creature ran away from a feeding trough—his midnight feast inconveniently disturbed. The solitary sound of a bleating lamb in the distance broke the tranquility as a warm breeze flowed in. He returned to the scroll.
"Arh-ran? This means light, does it not?"
Maer carefully smoothed over the scroll with his hand and continued reading as best he could. The
