Preface

My first basic writing skills professor in college, Professor Sikoryak, inspired me to write this sequel to the Maze of Anything . I know he inspired a lot of young writers back in the early '90s. He asked his students, What are you most passionate about?

I responded with, I am very passionate about being patient. The classroom of students laughed. Professor Sikoryak calmed the students down. I said, I'm patient for learning how to write better. Waiting patiently for things to happen has always been a passion for me. Listening closely to the details always brings fine results. Someday, I will find true love.

Professor Sikoryak responded with, Yes, well spoken. That's what passion is all about. Finding something you like to do, and doing it well.

The Reception Continues

The story continues with Johnny and Anna's wedding reception. Johnny had a surprise gift for Anna. Anna had surprise guests for Johnny. Timothy Alexander had a honeymoon gift for Johnny and Anna. Victor and Suzy joined Johnny and Anna on their honeymoon. This led to a science project Victor was working on. Johnny and Anna and Victor and Suzy all found the true meaning behind the Maze of Anything.

Johnny had a surprise gift for Anna. Johnny got down on his knee and said, Anna would you take this golden apple. Anna started to tear up, and then she hugged Johnny.

Anna said, Thank you, Johnny.

Johnny quickly said, Open it up!

Anna said, It opens up. Anna popped the top of the gold apple. Inside the apple sat a miniature replica of Anna's first letter to Johnny. Family and guests said, Ah! The letter was all gold with engraved black lettering.

Johnny said, You will always be dear to my heart, like this apple's core. Thank you, Anna, for being my wife.

Anna said, Thank you, Johnny. I love you. Johnny and Anna kissed each other. There was not a dry eye during that presentation.

Now, Anna had surprise guests for Johnny. Anna said, Okay, Johnny, it's your turn to receive something from me. Johnny got all excited. Anna said, Johnny, you are probably wondering who some of these strange people are?

Johnny said, I think I recognize a few of them.

Anna said, I invited most of the people you rescued in the maze.

Johnny said, Anna, how did you find most of them?

Anna said, From one of the letters you wrote to me about the missing people, pets, and things.

Anna's Gift

Johnny could not believe it and then started laughing. Anna played the game show host just like Johnny did with the math questions. Anna called her special guests, one at a time, First, we have Peter and Jennifer Henderson.

Johnny said, Peter? I thought that was you, and who is this lovely lady?

Peter said, "I recognize you now that I'm twenty-nine. You are the man who brought
