On a quiet afternoon along the coast, in a port city, more precisely in an aquatic amusement park, lives Pedro, a colorful parrot who spends his days in a cage in the establishment's manager's office. Although his life is comfortable and safe, having made many friends at the aquarium, Pedro feels a deep restlessness in his heart. He watches the waves crash on the beach and listens to the whisper of the sea that seems to call him toward the unknown. He remembers the adventures that his grandfather, the Green Feather Parrot, told him before going to sleep; how he had found many treasures with the buccaneer Red Beard; and that at the end of his travels he had buried the most valuable thing on a secret island.
