PREFACE
Sometimes we procrastinate in life. Writing this book, it was like a dream that I always had but postponed, shelved, and kept to myself. But now it is time to open that stage curtain. Only when I was unseen behind the curtain that there were some who saw me. I can't help but mention them. A heartfelt thank you to my dear husband Servet Sagay, who always encouraged me to write and completed my life and book illustrations, to my dear son Firtina Eros Sagay for his patience and understanding. And my friend Oguz Utku Gunes, the talented director of the Turkish Theater who first read and critiqued my play in 2006, to my dear teacher Suzanne Lavine, and to our dear family friend Ahmet Sukru Akincilar for all of their support. I owe you many thanks.
