    Dedication

This book is dedicated to all humanity that needs direction in life. It is evident that we all need direction, based on the fact that everyone’s life has a divine purpose and destination.

    Acknowledgments

To the extraordinary people whom God has allowed to influence my life, who have been true blessings and inspiration:

My ethereal best friend and wife, Lydia Kinney Thompson; my mother, Patsy; father, Alja; my grandmother, Olivia Holmes; and my nephew, Preston Lewis, aka Shaneboy. Also to my wife’s mother, Mary, also known as Hannah Dean; her father, Napoleon; her grandmother, Alice Smith; and the late pastor Bryan L Kinney. To all our grandchildren; to our heartbeat, the Sanctified Army Ministries’ Praise Team; and lastly, to a significant contributor impacting our music ministry—we celebrate our relationship with the renowned international jazz artist Craig Thumper Samuels, Generation One.

    Prologue

The law of predestination and my choices have manifested my reality. Here is a mind-provoking thought: If you don’t know what you don’t know, how do you know what you need to learn? We were all born with the mental capacity to learn, but nevertheless we still need to be taught. In this world of diverse knowledge and traditions, who is qualified to say what is truth? There are only two branches of knowledge that impact our lives: truth and deception.

Every person has a God-created purpose and assignment to fulfill in life, which makes us accountable to God to accomplish. If you don’t know where you are going in life, any road you take will get you there. Instruction implies accountability. With God’s divine instruction, we become accountable to Him to move in and to accomplish our God-given purpose and assignment (via God’s instruction).

However, the fallen, impaired human nature is self-reliant, independent of God, and this is the recipe for a chaotic life. Just think what life would consist of without boundaries. Even with boundaries, life is not safe. If there is no such reality as an absolute (that is, boundaries), created to establish human standards, everyone will do what is right in their own understanding. This reality is evidentially clear, based on the fact that we live in a chaotic world wherein humanity rejects divine instruction.

Humanity was created by God for His purpose; nevertheless, we are not without guidelines, inherent instructions. We were purposed by God to accumulate experience through following instruction. The question is, is God qualified to provide such instruction? If so, let Him direct you in this journey called life. As Jeremiah 10:23 states, "O

    Lord

, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps."

    Chapter 1

    Before Humanity

    "By revelation knowledge,

    through faith, we believe"

    Infinity Past

It’s not likely that we would sit around thinking about life before humanity. Why would such a subject matter just pop into our heads? Truthfully, it would not. Life in and of itself is a journey of learning and application. What does the thought—before humanity—mean? Was there life before humanity? And along with that idea, what is humanity? What constitutes humanity? By virtue of the fact that mankind did not create himself, we have the evidence of the existence of life before humanity. In this world system of things, one might ask the question, why is this subject—before humanity—of any relevance or significance? There will always be a remnant of people in this world system who seek truth, regardless of the mind-set of the indifferent, unbelieving, and non-seeking human population. As we seek divine truth, God draws us into a heightened level of consciousness and reveals His love and grace.

The concept of life before humanity can prove to be difficult for the multitudes, but God has chosen a remnant of sons and daughters for Himself, for such a time as this. When the human mind is challenged with the thought and subject of eternity with respect to human life, we must admit that mankind is finite. Human beings have a beginning and an end, with the capacity for only limited knowledge.

So, as we fashion our minds to consider this thought—before humanity—we must humble ourselves to receive the revealed knowledge of eternity. Why eternity? Let’s define this word, eternity. Here is a thought from the world of academic intelligence with respect to eternity. The idea of eternity, as it relates to God, is an important concept in theology. Theists propose that God is eternally existent, but on the other hand, God may exist in eternity. Other theologians may postulate that God exists outside the human concept of time—but also, inside of time.

Now, here is what God has revealed to me from the Scriptures, by revelation knowledge enlightened by the Holy Spirit. In general, mankind loves to philosophize about eternity future, but here it is, the million-dollar question: How often do you hear mankind engage in a conversation about infinity past? The answer is, not often, or not at all. Here is a major observation and truth. Mankind has a finite mental capacity, especially when trying to comprehend infinity past and eternity future.

All time and life fit inside God. The human mind in and of itself does not have the nature or propensity, with regard to the subject of before humanity, to think or reason about life before the creation of humanity.

Eternity is, in essence, time without measure: infinity past and eternity future.

    Spiritual First—Divine Order

Before the manifestation of the physical creation, there was, and is, the manifestation of the spiritual creation. Genesis 1:1 states, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." The manifestation of the physical creation was not the first form of creation. In the sovereignty of God, His glory is revealed: The first form of creation was not physical; it was and is spiritual.

Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies. Let them praise the name of the

    niv

The Bible, the Word of God, states, "He commanded that the angels and the heavenly hosts were created, and God established them forever and ever." God issued a decree that will never end: infinity past and eternity future. The word decree in this scriptural context is the Hebrew word khoke, meaning ordinance; a law. In essence, the word ordinance brings to light legislation, or law. Here is the first revelation of spiritual legislation in manifestation: God’s decree of a thing. This is the first revelation and spiritual insight of the creation and manifestation of divine order. The essence of divine order is legislation and law, in which instructions are inherent.

Based on scriptural revelation, we come to understand that God in His omnipotence—His all-powerful nature—spoke by the power and integrity of His Word, bringing into manifestation the heavenly host and the constellations. Before humanity, the works of manifestation, the heavenly host, and the constellations were all purposed and decreed to function according to divine order, God’s inherent instructions. Everything God created before humanity was decreed by God to exist and operate according to His instruction—in divine order. The heavenly host and constellations were created to glorify and praise God, in perfect order and instruction, in their manifestation.

    First Spiritual Violation

Now, here is the one great and catastrophic event that shook heaven. Lucifer defied this divine order in violation of the instructions, breaching his God-given purpose and boundaries, due to the pride that was found inside him. This rebellion against the plans of God is the first, and only, transgression recorded in the history of infinity past. This event, which would subsequently impact mankind and mankind’s relationship with God (Isaiah 14:12–16), was Lucifer’s intentional act of transgression, as he defied the divine order (God’s inherent instruction), outside the boundaries of his relationship with God. This is the primary act, before humanity, that ushered in the revelation knowledge of spiritual wickedness in heavenly realms. This atrocious act of transgression was perpetrated by Lucifer.

Divine order is the essence of eternal life and creation, represented in the Godhead. The glory of the Godhead, personified in His sovereignty, reveals the perfect union of inseparable oneness with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God’s nature is demonstrated and evidenced in this divine order. The omniscience of God (His knowledge of all things) transcends the finite capacity of humanity’s limited knowledge. Everything in the spirit realm, spoken into existence by God, was also designed to function according to His divine order, so that the creation itself would glorify God. You can’t have order without instructions. In the Lord’s Prayer, for example, Jesus Christ taught His disciples to pray: Let the will of the Father be done on earth as it is in heaven.—Matthew 6:10

This refers to the divine order and instruction, events occurring according to the will of God. Everything in heaven and the spiritual realm was created and purposed to glorify God.

Now we acknowledge, according to Scripture and things already mentioned, that even in the divine order, there came a point in time, in the infinity past, when a part of God’s spiritual creation violated the divine instructions. Here is the million-dollar question: How is it possible for the divine order to violate instructions?

There is a part of the spiritual creation that God created with the constitution of and capacity for free will. Yes, the angelic
