About this ebook
Liars and lovers — but which is which?
Javi always knew his future. Even as he grew up in court, the warlock knew he would not get to stay. His teacher, Silvestre, was a young and talented magic user. It didn’t matter how head over heels he fell for his best friend, Prince Leandro, there was no place for him at court.
Determined to leave his love in the past, Javi throws himself into his work, but when Leandro becomes king, the warlock finds himself back in court and in the center of mystery. The once proud realm is at war with the fae, and everyone is vying for the place at Leandro’s side, so when the prince proposes courtship, Javi believes it to be for show.
The prince does not agree.
Leandro adored Javi. They played as children, but it was through their letters that their friendship became something more, and when the warlock returns during the masquerade, he does everything he can to make sure that the warlock is his. It might just tear his kingdom apart, but even the weight of the crown can’t tame his wild heart.
But there are traitors in his court. Can these two men find the truth? Or will a coup ensure this pair never finds their happy ending?
The Warlock’s Royal Courtship is a gay fantasy romance with political intrigue, mpreg, and a HEA.

Chapter One
Laughter echoed through the halls. Side by side, Javi and Leandro ran through the palace, dodging the prince’s tutor. The bard cursed, chasing them from the prince’s quarters through the main hall and past the library. His puffed pants scratched together, and as he huffed, panting, the two boys knew that they would soon escape him. Sure enough, as they ducked between the bookshelves, hiding side by side, the bard threw his hands up and gave up.
I have never been so insulted in my life,
Hector shrieked. His voice cracked as he stormed off.
The hands they pressed against their lips to keep their giggles from being heard fell away. Leandro collapsed forward, crying as he pulled Javi closer to him.
A-ha!
Hector jumped out, pointing at them as his face flushed a brilliant crimson. Both boys leapt to their feets, but the bard smirked. You’ve got nowhere to run to, you brats! I don’t care what you do, Javier, but I’m sure a warlock’s apprentice has more important tasks to perform than distracting the prince! And you, Prince Leandro, you will thank me for teaching you music and poetry when love’s tender hand grips your —
Grabbing his friend’s hand, Javi opened a portal in the bookcase, pulling Leandro through and closing it behind them. With joined hands, the two ran through the bookshelves, portal after portal. Their laughter filled the halls once more, and continuing straight through the stone, Javi led the young prince straight from one side of the palace to the other until they ran out of breath, tumbling together into the garden.
The magical coolness of the castle broke to the warmth of summer, and beneath the bright sun, Leandro shoved the apprentice warlock.
Did you see his face?
the prince asked with a grin.
Javi bit his lip, fighting to stop his laughter but only managing to snort indelicately. He looked like a tomato!
Shaking his head, Leandro huffed, As if I’ll need poetry and music to woo anyone! I’m the crown prince.
I don’t know…have you seen your face?
Javi teased, earning a shove from his friend.
Shut up!
Leandro added with a sneer, Not all of us can be warlock-pretty!
Fluttering his dark eyelashes, the tanner of the two cupped his own face. You think I’m pretty?
Tugging at his light brown locks, Leandro rolled his sky blue eyes, You know what I meant!
All I know is that you think I’m pretty,
Javi taunted, flopping down onto the grass.
His dark eyes danced in merriment, and the freckles across his upturned nose offered no means for Leandro to deny his friend’s retort. Collapsing beside him, the prince tossed an arm over his hand. Compared to his friend, he knew more of his worth might be found by a stranger in his crown than in his narrow face and the teeth he was still growing into.
Well, I’m stronger!
Leandro proclaimed, flexing his biceps.
Stretching, the warlock smirked. I’m taller than you.
Silvestre already said I’m going to end up being taller than you in the end!
Leandro argued, shoving the black haired boy. Plucking one of Javi’s curls, the prince pouted as he huffed, Just you wait and see. When I’m king, I’ll be taller than you.
Javi’s nose wrinkled. What does it matter?
You’ve got magic. I need something to hold over your stupid pretty face,
the brunet explained.
Not stupid.
Smiling, Leandro wiggled closer, taking his friend’s hand and entwining their fingers
