Lost in the Shadows
The darkness enveloped me tightly, a shroud of despair consuming every thought and every breath. I felt like a prisoner to the shadows, lost in a labyrinth of my own making. How did I, in this dusky realm, manage to forget everything? Beguiled by vices, trapped in shades beneath, I tasted danger and rebellion, but the price of innocence lost was too high.
In the arms of the shadows, the whispers sweetly sung promises of liberation, but the fleeting rendezvous only brought me back to chains. The dance became a desperate ballet. In my naivety, I failed to hear the shadows’ song, a captive’s grand ballet.
Yet, amidst the dark, a flicker of hope lit up like a gentle gleam, awakening a dormant inner flame. I yearned for a life beyond the scheme, to break free from the chains and the shadows. With every step toward the light, I claimed the strength within, the power to redeem myself.
Embracing the Darkness
The room, enshrouded in shadows’ embrace,
Consumed me wholly, like an old, dear friend.
How did I solace here, my fears to mend?
In darkness, twisted paths, a mystic race.
Once bathed in light, I danced with dreams,
A sunlit path of naivety’s sweet grace.
As challenges cast shadows on my face,
I stumbled, lost in mind’s labyrinthine seams.
The darkness beckoned, whispered promises,
A refuge from life’s harsh realities.
Yet, shadows consumed, became my disease,
As I danced with demons in secret ecstasies.
Amidst despair, faint flickers of light
Whispered redemption, a chance to rewrite.
