    The Normal Family Routine

    We are a normal family with jobs and daily activities that keep us busy from the time we get up to the time we get back in bed, leaving almost no time for exercise or healthy eating. Once our busy day is completed, we get up the next morning only to repeat the same cycle. Once we get to Saturday, the long-awaited weekend, a day where you should be able to do those extra things like exercise or perhaps consider eating healthy, you are so exhausted from your chaotic week that exercise and healthy eating are not even on your radar screen. The reality of the weekend in the life of a modern family is that they just spend the day calming down from the insane week that they just completed. This cycle begins again on Monday morning and on and on it goes until one morning you wake up and realize that you are thirty pounds heavier than your ideal maximum weight and you feel like the Pillsbury dough boy about to explode. This is the situation many normal people find themselves in and it is one of the many reasons that the typical person gains weight every year instead of just staying the same.

    The normal family daily routine is to get up, get the kids ready for school, get them on the bus or perhaps drive them to school, then drive themselves to work. When they get to the lunch time of the day, they buy something quick that is never healthy telling themselves that it is just today and besides, they are starving because they did not have time to grab something to eat while helping someone on the way to school deal with a crisis of some sort.
