Relentless Liminality: (a few collections)
()
About this ebook
Steven’s sophomore release does not exactly pick up where his first book never ended.
It contains exceptionally detailed wordplay that will unveil even more visuals for the mind’s eye to ponder...selections of polished pieces and broader subjects, more refined in some respects...some much more esoteric in other ways.
An emotional rollercoaster set loose on uneven tracks once again.
Enjoy the journey.
And always remember, “It’s all about perspective...” - S.W.
Steven M. Wuebker
What makes Steven a writer worthy of reading? Detailed imagery using few words. From as early as he can remember, Steven never went anywhere without a book. Just one child’s fantasy-version of a “talisman”, yet when opened to any single page, it allowed an escape, a brief respite...even if it were for only as long as it took to read a short passage, sometimes less than a minute. Steven invites you to escape into his book, open any page, take a short respite...even if only for a brief moment on a page...and always remember, it’s all about perspective.

Preface
The preface for this book would be...my previous book.
Only because it became a reality first.
While the memories of that roller coaster ride through history may never abate, there is no reason to believe the ride ever stopped.
These new twists and turns burst through even bigger boundaries, even if it’s only those shielding our mind’s eye.
Always remember, It’s all about perspective...
– S.W.

Liminality
Liminality is a term used to describe the psychological process of transitioning across boundaries and borders.
The term limen
comes from the Latin for threshold; it is literally the threshold separating one space from another.
It is the place in the wall where people move from one room to another...

RELENTLESS
Slamming her glass onto the table,
all that she could say was
Bullshit!
and as the candlelight
shimmered in her eyes,
all that I could see was emptiness.
It’s over then?
, I asked,
feeling the hatred starting to flow.
And as she just stared,
all of the memories started
draining down my face.
Last call...
, the bartender said,
killing the front lights.
Yeah, I thought,
last call for love.
As her eyes searched mine,
I said,
Thanks, it was fun...
and blew out the candle.

The monolithic face on Mars
most of us have seen it
dusted in a charcoal-covered veil
one not much different than those worn
in funeral marches
