About this ebook
God Delivers His People beautifully illustrates and narrates the account of the first part of Israel’s journey from Egypt to the wilderness, including the things the Israelites faced and their attitude towards God. Learn why Israel took 40 years to reach the land of promise, and why only some made it to the end, and what made them different.
Through this book, young hearts will realize that disobedience and unbelief do not pay off. They will also be encouraged to know that God is faithful to lead His people into His promises, and that what He did for Israel, He can also do for them.

Dedication
We dedicate this book to our Lord Jesus Christ who is mighty to save and deliver His children. It is He who leads us on our Christian journey. We also wish to dedicate this book to Dr. Brian J. Bailey who has been a faithful teacher of the Journey of Israel and its spiritual truths.
Dear Parents,
As parents, you know how precious your children are to you. Children are very precious in God’s sight as well. Jesus said, Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven
(Matthew 19:14 NKJV).
It is truly our deepest desire to bring the simple truth from God’s Word to children. We believe that what children learn today will be a guiding force in their future. Therefore, children need a strong foundation in God’s Word.
It is the responsibility of parents and godly teachers to teach children God’s ways. How else will they learn to love God’s Word? It is our prayer that once these little ones know who God is, they will choose to love and follow Him with their whole heart.
Psalms 78:5-7 tells us it is our duty to teach children the laws of God. For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.
May this book be a blessing to you and your children as you follow God’s pathway of righteousness.

Introduction
When you read the stories in the Bible, do you ever wonder why you should read them? Are they just nice stories about things that happened a very long time ago? The Holy Bible is the written Word of God, and it was written to help us learn. The Bible tells us all these things happened to them for examples, and they were written for our admonition
(1 Corinthians 10:11 NKJV).
What is an admonition? An admonition is a warning and something God wants you to learn from. When you read the Bible and the stories from long ago you are supposed to learn lessons from them; it is not just a book of nice stories. You can learn important lessons from the stories about men like Abraham, Joseph, Moses, and Joshua. If the people were good, you should try to be like them; but if they were bad, you should try to avoid their mistakes.
The Journey of Israel is an important story from the Bible that is full of examples that you can learn from. The people of Israel were God’s chosen people, and they went on a very long trip from the country of Egypt to a land called Canaan, the land God promised to Abraham and his family. It took them 40 years to get from Egypt to the Promised Land.
Would you like to learn about this important trip that God’s people took so long ago? This book tells about the Journey of Israel, the things they faced, their attitude toward God, and why it took so long for them to reach the Promised Land. Find out why God wants you
