About this ebook

Although Jeff, Daryl, Terry, Glen, and Aaron have different personal lives, they have two traits in common—all are musicians and internet junkies. As members of the band, Centerplex, they also share the same dreams as other bands—to achieve professional success. But when they decide one day to embark on a camping adventure in a wilderness known for its folklore, everything changes.

After arriving at the campground situated in the middle of a forest, the men set up their tents, build a fire, down a few beers, and ultimately take a powerful drug that sends them on a journey they never expected. Trapped in the horrors of confusion while under the influence, the wild side seemingly stalks them from the darkness of the forest, clouding their minds with trip-laced fears and leaving them to wonder what is real and what is not as a shocking chain of events begins to unfurl.

In this horror tale, a group of musicians enthusiastically set out on a campground adventure, only to discover their experience is not what they anticipated after they take hallucinagenics.

    INTRODUCTION

Five men set out enthusiastically on a camping adventure, only to discover their trip is not what they anticipated. Set in a remote location where well-known folklore creates a fearful situation, they discover the horrors of confusion while under the influence of illegal drugs and alcohol, as their minds are clouded with trip-laced fears.

    CHAPTER 1

The door opens and Jeff walks in. I got it! he says cheerfully as a smile crosses his face. He strolls across the room to where his friends are seated, awaiting his triumphant return.

What kind is it? Daryl asks, looking skeptical.

It’s blotter paper, but from what I saw, it’s pretty damn good, Jeff replies. He pulls his wallet from his back right-hand pocket. He digs around in the wallet and pulls out a small Ziploc baggie. Inside the baggie is a small thin strip of what seems to be ordinary paper. The paper is perforated into ten equally divided pieces, each about a quarter inch square. We get two each, but we have to wait till we’re at the campgrounds to eat it.
