Book 1:

Elara had never known magic. She and her family had lived a peaceful and quiet life on their small farm. Of course life was difficult; the King took most of what they produced and they often had to go without just to pay the high taxes that the crown ordered. But she had everything she could have ever asked for in her mother and father.
That would all come to a halt though, when the city's soldiers would ask for too much from Elara's family.
With her new power, Gaia's Grace, Elara must evade capture and find help wherever she can in order to keep from the clutches of the King and his army.
New friends, new enemies and an oppressive regime to struggle against, join Elara as she discovers the Hidden Academy and learns to wield her new powers for the good of the people.

 

Book 2:

Kai had always known that he was destined to be a great fire mage. He had been able to control the Eternal Flame within him for so long that he had labelled himself a Journeyman ranked mage. But when he had found the 'Brotherhood of the Flame', a group of fire mages who lived to train, fight and compete regularly, he soon realised that the single flame that he could conjure did not live up to the might of his peers.
Kai quickly discovered that he was not equal to the rest of the Brotherhood, and each time he fought against them in their weekly competitions, he would be soundly put back in his place. That would be of course until he met Elijah, Lyra and Alina, who would help him on his path to become something more than he could've ever imagined.

 

Book 3:

Theodore awoke in a smoking crater with no memories of how he got there, or even who he was. With no choice but to simply start walking, that is exactly what he did.
Surrounded by dry, arid desert on all four sides, Theodore picked a direction at random and walked until he came to a small farmstead as the desert turned to grassland and eventually forest. This would be where he would take refuge until he would be discovered, and have to try to explain himself, hoping that his story would be believed.

When his memories return, Theodore must face the deeds of his past and choose to fight for the side of the good and just. He must do what he can to redeem himself in the eyes of so many, and fight for the good of all of the people of Avondale.
