About this ebook
Since we are in a time of upheaval, events keep occurring that give us something to think about. I try to see some of these tendencies from a different perspective. I will of course leave it up to you whether this also applies to your views, without wanting to influence them.

Foreword
Far be it from me to attack anyone here or to judge anyone. Rather, it is my view of things, as I interpret it below. It may well be that one or the other thinks that this would be a radical view of things. But sometimes it seems to me that you bury your head in the sand. Not reacting, will solve itself. I believe this thread runs through the entire body of writing. As I said, this is not paternalism of anyone, but my opinion on various things at home and abroad.

Lukashenko and the Nazis
On the one hand, an authoritarian ruler allows arms transports on the part of the warmonger to pass through his country and then he is surprised when Ukraine reacts to it. Furthermore, it is also through the media that attacks on the neighboring state are carried out from its territory. After all, it is up to every human being to defend himself when he or she is attacked, and even more so to a country. Perhaps this will also be further training for the occupation of another state.
Terrorist attacks in Europe
How are we supposed to look at it now, are we confronted with a new wave of terror and what is being done about it? When I look at the people who carry out such attacks, it is mostly foreign citizens who have a good time in the EU, certainly better than in their country of birth. They apply for asylum where decisions about it take years. This more or less means that they are only allowed to work to a limited extent during the processing of their application and thus have plenty of time to follow any ideologies. The question is whether this is also possible in their countries of origin, but apparently everything is possible in the European Union. Not only do they follow some wrong paths, they also have to live out their mentality with us and then, of course, they also become delinquents. The authorities are waiting for such a person to commit further crimes, up to and including a terrorist attack. You certainly can't change the mentality of these people, but you have to watch until this person becomes delinquent again. It may sound rigorous, but a criminal offence should be accompanied by immediate deportation to his home country and, in addition, an entry ban for the entire EU. But I believe that the Union is kneeling down on the issue of migration. It is true that we need an influx of skilled workers to keep our economy running, but these people who are pushing into the European Union do not necessarily meet the criteria of a skilled worker. I do believe that people who have the appropriate qualifications will not turn their backs on their country and come to us.
Border guard
When I look at the discussion in Austria and also in the EU, I have to say that more and more money is being poured into this topic, and the problem is not getting any less than that. As we see it in our country, the forces at the borders are being massively increased, instead of the EU finally going to create something unified within this Union. The issue of migration already costs the citizen tens of billions in total. And what does the EU intend to do about it? There is a discussion about distribution quotas within the Union and no solution can be found. In my view, however, this is only part of the problem. This topic should be reformed from the ground up, because I cannot understand many of the regents' thoughts. And to mention it again, how does the citizen come to support a person and that for years with his hard-earned money. The migrants are financed for years and the resident has to pay for it. Not only is the person who wants to live with us doomed to inactivity, he also has to wait years until a decision is made about his status. If, on top of that, the population of a federal state is also upset that more and more refugees are roaming around in their villages, then I also understand the governor's concern for more forces to protect the borders. But, as I said, there should finally be a reaction from Brussels as to how to deal with this issue.
Trump and politics
In January last year, the world's largest democracy was shaken to its foundations with the storming of the Capitol. Certainly, some aggressors have already been held accountable and there are still proceedings in this regard. Only what about the main culprit of these riots. He may well be a bad loser, but he doesn't seem to be aware of how much he can influence the masses. Well, yes, there are similar politicians not only in America, but you can find them all over the world. Only, as I said, the ordinary citizen has been prosecuted for such activities, which I also think is right, because such a person should not even use the word democrat
, because that would be a mockery of it. But is there ever an accountability report by the president or, if it reveals a violation of the law, an indictment? Here in Austria, it seems that a different approach is being taken. You go out and make some claims that can only be inadequately substantiated and then wait to see what may come. But politics doesn't have a good reputation anyway, if you have to back it up with accusations that might vanish into thin air at the end of the day. In addition, I think that if there are violations of any laws, then there are still the courts that make judgments about them, and those people who fabricate such claims should be aware of that. Above all, how does politics stand as a whole and does this not also promote the dislike of the population in their state representatives?
Billion patients
From the outset, I had concerns about the amount of savings of one billion euros if the statutory health insurance funds were to be merged. But I am surprised that now, after merging several health insurance companies, there are fewer staff than before. Has this apparatus already become so cumbersome that, for example, retirements had to be filled with new hires? Thus, the number of employees has not decreased, but has increased by 100 people. I can't notice much of a standardization of benefits for the insured person in this changeover, quite the opposite, deductibles are being created or increased, which was not the custom before the merger. Perhaps the savings of this magnitude will come in the next few years, but I dare to doubt it.
Corruption investigations
They haven't been around since yesterday. Accusations and allegations are made without providing much evidence. It may well be that the matter is very extensive, but where are the corresponding charges? The WKSta (Public Prosecutor for Economic Affairs and Corruption) is investigating whether there will be any legal consequences. In addition, a committee of inquiry created for this purpose summons various people to answer questions who can only answer questions to a limited extent because they are also involved in individual allegations. But since such allegations about corruption do not apply to just one party, I wonder what kind of style this is. What does our reputation in the world look like, although this certainly does not only apply to our state? At times, it seems to me that they want to use it to make a name for themselves in public. In my opinion, however, this backfire, because the approval of our politicians is on the decline, even though by voting you trust these people to be represented by these politicians. Since people are not exactly squeamish about such statements, sooner or later the mood in the population will become radicalized and that cannot be in our interest.
Climate Council
We now have the results of these discussions. We had already heard a lot about it and there was also a very lively discussion about it. However, if I make the proposal to reduce the speed to 90 km/h, I see the administration of this as difficult. You can live with a car-free day, we already had something like this during the oil crisis in the 70s, because it doesn't have to be that I have to use a car seven days a week. But what irritates me a lot is the fact that you still have to go on holiday by car with twice the price of fuel and accept hours of waiting due to traffic jams. Does the price of gasoline have to multiply so that there is finally a rethink? These results were also handed over to two ministers in a way that
