#1 The Stones were taking a risk by going on tour with the same show they had in 1969. They knew that one day they would go out on stage and play to an audience that just sat there, resembling nothing so much as a still-life portrait of the House of Lords.
#2 By the summer of 1972, the Rolling Stones had already become very tame, ancient history. Rock singers were working half-naked with snakes twined around their midriffs. Their hair was dyed burnt sienna and they were flaunting their omnisexuality as helicopters dive-bombed their audiences with skyloads of paper panties.
#3 The S. T. P. platoon consists of the press agent, the makeup man, the guitar-maker, the accountant, the baggage man Willie, and the doctor.
#4 The supporting cast are minor players in the tour move, people who will go through the most drastic life changes on the tour. They are the ones who will be sucked into the rock hurricane, and soon all they want to do is talk about the Stones.

The Stones were taking a risk by going on tour with the same show they had in 1969. They knew that one day they would go out on stage and play to an audience that just sat there, resembling nothing so much as a still-life portrait of the House of Lords.
#2
By the summer of 1972, the Rolling Stones had already become very tame, ancient history. Rock singers were working half-naked with snakes twined around their midriffs. Their hair was dyed burnt sienna and they were flaunting their omnisexuality as helicopters dive-bombed their audiences with skyloads of paper panties.
#3
The S. T. P. platoon consists of the press agent, the makeup man, the guitar-maker, the accountant, the baggage man Willie, and the doctor.
#4
The supporting cast are minor players in the tour move, people who will go through the most drastic life changes on the tour. They are the ones who will be sucked into the rock hurricane, and soon all they want to do is talk about the Stones.
#5
The plane landed in Washington state, and the Stones were the last people off. They ran down the runway, laughing. When Jagger came back, he did one of his I-am-a-child routines, peering intently into the turbo jet.
#6
The Canadian border was chosen for the debut concert because it was geographically perfect. The city of Vancouver had been chosen for the concert because it was far away from the rock establishment in L. A. and San Francisco.
#7
The rioters hit the front door with everything they had, and it was like a Zen slap in the face for Rudge, who realized he was in this alone. The good kids, who had paid their way in, had sat through Stevie Wonder’s set quietly.
#8
The Stones’ fans were fighting police outside the venue. The Stones were oblivious to it all. They played for nearly two hours and did seventeen songs, but it was not a very entertaining concert.
#9
The Stones tour went to Seattle, where they performed Angela Davis’s song, Sweet Black Angel, which
