About this ebook

Enoch is book 1 of 6, which chronicles the Time of Sorrows, The Tribulation. Unlike other series of books similar in nature, this story recreates what today’s world could expect from God’s final two Witnesses. It explores Lucifer and the Fallen 200’s viewpoint, their story, and retribution. These six books are based on Daniel, Revelation, Matthew, coupled with the Book of Enoch. The Fallen 200 angels (who became demons) were bound by Enoch around 3250 BC for 70 generations. Their release would be around 1600 AD. This period of our history is the beginning of humanity exiting from the dark ages. This is the time when the King James Bible was released, Jamestown was founded in America, Galileo appeared, Johannes Kepler, the inquisition to stop science, to name a few. The world was changing. This series explores the possibility that these Fallen 200 influenced the enhancements in science, world expansion, technology, and philosophy. For four hundred years since the 200’s release, Lucifer and his followers have prepared for the day the first Witness arrives. They are ready to come out from the shadows and take over our world. Today is that day. God’s first Witness Enoch returns as Jack South who causes worldwide disasters to announce the beginning of Tribulation. Anchor John Roddenburg of Bear News provides Jack South with the opportunity to share his story with a worldwide audience. John then hosts a panel of religious leaders who challenge Jack’s message from God. The industrialist Aafre Waldger (Azazel) heads a worldwide organization which controls politicians, leaders, and finances throughout the world. Hearing Jack on Bear News, Aafre realizes the time has come to activate his end-time plans. Soon, in a worldwide sermon broadcast by John Roddenburg and Bear News, Enoch pulls back the curtain on the evil permeating the world by Lucifer and his followers. Elijah arrives and warns Israel and the world. He has a mandate to honor God’s agenda. His story ignites in Book II as he demands the Third Temple be built. Book 1 covers the first four days. Book 2 reveals the next five days.

Enoch, the First Witness - Samuel David

    Foreword

Enoch is book 1 of 6, which chronicles the Time of Sorrows, The Tribulation. Unlike other series of books similar in nature, this story recreates what today’s world could expect from God’s final two witnesses. It explores Lucifer, and the Fallen 200’s viewpoint, their story, and retribution.

This is the time when the King James Bible was released, Jamestown was founded in America, Galileo appeared, then our solar system theory with Johannes Kepler, the inquisition to stop science, to name a few. The world was changing. This series explores the possibility that these Fallen 200 influenced the enhancements in science, world expansion, technology, and philosophy.

For four hundred years since the 200’s release, Lucifer and his followers had prepared for the day the first Witness would arrive. They were ready to come out from the shadows and take over our world.

Today is that day. God’s first Witness Enoch returns as Jack South, who causes worldwide disasters to announce the beginning of Tribulation.

    Author's notes.

This series recognizes one-third of the angels present on Earth rebelled against God as described in the book of Enoch. These writings of Enoch detail these demons and the Nephilim, as also described in Genesis and throughout the Bible. All these writings suggest the sons of God’s (angels, currently fallen) created generations of corrupt, wicked people. We also found this idea in some ancient Gnostic writings.

    Day One is Today

    Revelation 11:3-6 KJV

And I will give power unto my two Witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the Earth.

And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

These have power to shut Heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the Earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

    Chapter 1

    6:00 AM EST

Monday June 1st, New York City

The First Day of 1,260 Days

    J

une in New York varies. Some days are pleasant and warm, others carry a certain chill and wind. At 6:00 a.m., it was difficult to tell if it would warm up or not, for it was still dark outside.

Jack South stepped out of his hotel, compliments of THE Network Morning Headlines. The TV show invited Jack to come to their studios to talk about winning the lottery. The questions of who, what, when, where, and why they ask so many lottery winners they interview, were on their agenda.

Jack boarded the limousine that was waiting for him courtesy of the studio. He was en route for the short drive to the scheduled national interview, which was to be aired live at 7:20 a.m.

Several months ago, Jack won two major lotteries, paying out over 450 million dollars each, after taxes. It was the first instance of a person winning two big lotteries in two different states in the same week, using the exact same numbers. This was certainly attention-grabbing and to THE Network more than newsworthy.

Jack had bought a Superball and a Multi Rich Millions dollar ticket using the same number sequence and the same bonus number sixteen.

The lotteries disbursed his winnings a few weeks ago. It was not long after; he was contacted by several news and entertainment stations. They wanted Jack to appear on their shows, to talk about his amazing luck at attaining such a grand prize.

Through a public relation firm Jack hired, THE Network News Morning Headlines was granted the initial interview. They have the highest viewership and are considered the primary news outlet in the United States. Their competitor, Bear News, was a few blocks down Sixth Ave.

Their substantial viewership was very important to Jack and his PR firm's decision to allow them to take the first crack at him. Jack had an ulterior motive, which was completely unrelated to talking about winning the lottery. Part of the plan was to prove to the world that THE Network was a misinformation broadcaster who censored the truth. It was known influential individuals controlled them. They would hint at specific news stories to cater to the needs of politicians, governments, corporations, and members of their own group, regardless of the truth.

THE Network was owned by an entity who many thought part of a global union of powerful people, commonly referred to as The Waldger Group. THE Network recently was the focus of certain antigovernment groups. This organization claimed they were the primary perpetrators of purposefully disseminating misinformation to manipulate public sentiment. After today, they may well pay a price for being arrogant and controlling. At least this is part of the plan.

Jack’s thoughts were interrupted when his driver leaned his head back toward him and spoke.

Sir, we will pull up to the studio entrance in a minute. I will be returning around 9:30 to take you back to the hotel. It's likely you will be through by then. I will be in the same area I am letting you off at.

"Thanks, I appreciate it. However, I was planning on wandering around the area before I go back to the Plaza. I'm thinking of doing some shopping and maybe enjoying a pre-noon lunch.

No problem. When you are finished with your walking around, call me and I will come and pick you up wherever you are. THE Network assigned me to you for the entire day. We are available to you until 6:00 pm.

The driver passed his card back to Jack.

My cell number is there on the card.

Looking at his card, Jack noted the cell number and dropped it in the side pocket of his sports jacket.

"Thank you, sir. I am grateful for your help.

The driver pulled into the studio parking lot, drove up to the studio door, and stopped the limo. He jumped out and walked back to Jack's door of the limo and opened it.

Best of luck on the show. From what I hear, you are the luckiest man alive. Imagine winning two jackpots with the same numbers. Wow! Wish it would have been me!

Jack disregarded the comment with no response. The whole domino effect of these past few weeks had yet to sink in.

Everything seemed to fall into place, when what Jack saw as a chance encounter for a job interview became a part of his divine destiny. Now, on this day, Jack was following the strict instructions given to him. He is walking into the snake pit of an interview on a nationally syndicated television program. However, on this day, Jack's sole mission was to shock the entire world. This was not about the lotteries, which were the red carpet to a national television appearance. His windfall from the lottery was the means to spring forward and fund what Jack was about to start today. He was playing his role in a carefully orchestrated blueprint in the works for two millennia.

The driver was staring at him while he relived the events in a hypnotic-like vision. The driver calmly waited for him to step out. As Jack stepped out of the limo, he pulled a hundred-dollar bill out to tip him.

I appreciate your kind wishes and will call you when I am ready to return.

Thank you, sir, the driver stated as he shook Jack's hand.

At the studio door, a guard was checking the identification of anyone wanting to enter. Once at the entrance, the guard looked at Jack, then at his clipboard.

Good morning, sir, you must be Jack South, the lottery winner.

    That’s correct.

Jack handed him the stage pass. THE Network had delivered it to him at his hotel room. He quickly looked at it, made a check mark on his clipboard, then waved him in as he pointed down the hallway.

The orientation room is up on the second floor, and the elevators are just around the corner. There is also a buffet set up for our guests today. Oh, before it slips my mind, our producer, Mr. Jonathon Langer, will arrive shortly to give you an orientation about your interview.

Thanks, I appreciate you being so helpful. By the way, has my attorney, Mark Anderson, arrived yet?

He glanced at his list before responding.

Not yet, sir, but he is on the list. When he arrives, I will tell him you are here and send him up.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

As Jack stepped toward the elevator, he contemplated what was about to transpire. Living in the modern age of the 21st century, not the days of Genesis, he was about to make the world stand up and take notice. Gabriel and Ariel had laid out an elaborate plan during a whirlwind meeting several weeks ago.

Jack mused, deep in thought. 'Here I am, a simple, ordinary African American citizen. Jack South, fifty-eight years of age, married, with five grown children, about to pick up where someone had left off, over two millennia ago. A few months ago, he was more focused on securing a good job and having a pleasant life. Things evolve, but not like this. Every single thing he comprehended and trusted in has been completely turned upside down. His entire life's purpose has shifted. I am just your regular man. Not wealthy, until I won the jackpot, but comfortable. Despite my limited education, I read extensively. Regardless of the individual or subject, I can effortlessly steer any conversation. At a height of six foot one, I have a lean body, black eyes, dark brown skin, and gray hair. I viewed myself as being in good health and experienced only a few medical issues. Most of my career was in sales and I was very successful in the computer industry in the early days. Since that moment, my industry changed as the world moved toward a one world economy. We were no longer essential to sell the technology. After losing my job as a VP, I sold everything from home improvement services to advertising. Additionally, I wrote a book that was not as successful as I had envisioned.

Jack's reflective pondering was disrupted when a woman approached the elevator, struggling with two dog carriers. An attendant was with her, pushing a cart with two larger dog carriers on it.

She was chattering at him about how upset the dogs were getting. She seemed quite flustered and did not appear to be in a good mood at all. Jack remained there waiting for the elevator and watching her fumble with the cages.

Are you part of the show today? he questioned.

    Yes! But who are you?

"I'm also featured on the broadcast. It seems you are going through a difficult time.

My dogs are quite distressed, and things are not going well so far this morning. We got here late last night. The plane had a three-hour delay, and I did not have time to get my bearings. The dogs are quite unsettled. I pray they will behave when I do the interview. You can never determine how dogs are going to react.

Are you involved in breeding or training?

"I specialize in breeding Labradoodles in Indiana. They are a popular new type people desire. THE Network extended an invitation for me to talk about them on the show today.

    Are they a special breed?

Yes, they have minimal shedding, and so people who are allergic to dogs can own them. They’re a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle.

As they were talking, the elevator door opened. Jack helped her place the two loose carriers inside. The porter pushed the cart on with the other ones.

Thank you, she uttered to Jack.

Jack thought to himself, ‘It is perplexing who television morning shows will have on for guests and what the show finds interesting or informative. So far, they had a lottery winner and a dog breeder. Demonstrates how far they would go to satisfy the craving for information of any kind for the audience.’

Once the elevator door opened, Jack assisted her with the cages. A professional-looking woman wearing a lavender business suit with a clipboard greeted them. She started spewing out questions as they stepped out of the elevator.

Hello, I am Michelle Richards, associate to the Producer, and you are, directing the question to the dog woman?

    Molly Sifers, from Indiana Breeders.

And you must be Mr. South?

"Yes, I am. Delighted to meet you.

If you would kindly accompany me, please, I will guide you to the orientation and breakfast buffet room. It is straight down the hall to our left. Do you need any help with the dogs or the cages, Ms. Sifer?

Thank you, but no. The porter is helping and the rest I can manage.

Jack scooped up a loose cage not on the cart. Molly grinned in gratitude as they followed the porter, pushing her cart with the other two cages down the hallway.

Molly, Michelle stated, you can't bring the dogs into the orientation room. However, we frequently have pets, so we have a distinctive area where you can care for them. You can drop them off there, then head to the orientation area and enjoy a continental breakfast.

Turning to Jack, she pointed to a door that was open.

You can wait in here, Mr. South.

Without pausing for a response, Michelle proceeded down the hall to a double glass door, which led into an outside garden. Already holding a cage, Jack followed Molly and Michelle, instead of going into the orientation room. Michelle stepped through the door to an area built into the side of the building resembling a garden. There was green space and an area with a patio set on a deck.

This is the spot where you can house the dogs. There is a dog exercise zone over there, Michelle said as she pointed to a chain-linked space about six feet wide by twenty feet in length.

And here we have a table set up for grooming and caring for your dogs. We hope this will work out for you?

Everything is fine Michelle. I really appreciate your help.

Michelle turned her attention back to Jack.

Mr. South, we can go to the orientation room at this moment if you like.

That would be fine, Michelle. Has my attorney, Mark Anderson, arrived here yet?

He has not checked in with me, sorry.

She redirected her focus back to Molly, who was fiddling with the other cages, getting the dogs out.

Molly, I will dispatch one of our assistants to come help in a few minutes. I need to get Mr. South to the orientation room because he is scheduled before you. You are on at about 8:20.

Michell turned back to Jack and requested him to follow her. As they were departing, Jack looked back at Molly and the dogs. After what was going to be announced today, Molly and her Labradoodles would probably not make the morning show. Too many other things of greater interest would happen. Neither she nor THE Network had any idea what was about to take place.

    Chapter 2

    6:20 AM EST

    THE Network Headlines, Studios

    The Teal Room

    M

ichelle delivered Jack to a holding room called the Teal Room. The room was somewhat small, with a few couches, chairs, a TV monitor, cordless phone, and miscellaneous tables with an array of beverages and snacks on them. The most eye-catching images were the photographs on the wall of renowned guests, the hosts of the shows, past and present.

Jack was alone in the room, without anyone else present. Mark, his attorney, should arrive to join him shortly. Jack was hungry, so he snatched a donut and a cup of coffee. He added coffee creamer, sat on the couch facing the door to wait for what came next. As Jack relaxed, he reflected on all the people he had seen on this show during his lifetime. He realized they all probably sat in this same room waiting for their interview. Some interviews were disheartening, others uplifting, and some just plain disastrous. The expertise and abilities news anchors used to cause people to slip up and say things they should not say worked like a charm. This would be a definite concern today.

Brad Williams would be the one conducting the interview with Jack today. Brad was a narcissist who believed the world revolved around him. Based on reports, he had not earned his place at THE Network. He was promoted because of family connections. They groomed him for the job. Then, practically overnight, Brad held the top anchor spot by the time he was 28.

Brad stood 5 feet 7 inches and was in outstanding physical shape. His English lineage was evident in his dishwater brown hair, brown eyes, and rather sharp features. Brad was selected as the most attractive man on TV a few years ago by a popular TV magazine and won several awards. Essentially, he was the most watched news anchor in America and the most ruthless. His only rival was John Roddenburg, from Bear News.

For the past two weeks, the PR firm Jack hired rehearsed with him each word of the responses Jack needed to use based on the questions Brad would ask. His team demanded to receive a copy of the questions prior to agreeing to the interview. Their outreach office was amiable in supplying them.

Jack and his team decided when he would drop the 'bombshell' into their laps. There was no question they would not like it. Jack wanted their uncertain reactions to be integrated into their plan. Push Brad to his breaking point and get him to lose his temper.

Jack double-checked the list of questions and read all the notes prepared by his attorney. In his mind, he was rehearsing the answers and his lead-in to alter the entire direction of the interview. Timing would be of utmost importance for today's success. There were still uncertainties about what to say and how it affected his family and, of course, the rest of the world.

This entire situation started with a job interview. Jack discovered himself in what appeared to be an uncomfortable position due to his faith. However, it seemed to Jack that his faith had prepared him for today. The Messengers declared Jack was their choice a long time ago, and that it would soon be revealed to him why. Today was his initial test before discovering what was to come.

With unwavering faith and courage, in front of a national and soon worldwide audience, Jack was to announce something the world was not ready or willing to accept.

Extracting from his breast pocket, Jack produced two sheets of paper, and for the umpteenth time, perused its contents thoroughly. Jack planned to hand the pages to Brad after his bombshell statement.

Jack's eyes and mind absorbed the information for the last time. The content was perfectly clear in its specifics. Once he unveiled its secrets, winning the two lotteries back-to-back would seem pale compared to this.

The entrance to the Teal Room opened, and Michelle entered.

Your attorney is here, Mr. South, she stated.

As she moved aside, Mark Anderson walked in.

Jack refolded the pages and returned them to his jacket pocket. He rose and shook Mark's hand.

"Good morning, Mark. Did you have a safe trip?

"It was fine. If you don't object, let me get a cup of coffee, then we can talk.

Mark went to the buffet, as Jack moved to the lounge seats which faced each other in the far corner.

Mark Anderson was a careful, detail-oriented, high-priced defense lawyer. At a height of 5 feet 6 inches, balding, and well over 300 pounds, no matter what his attire, he was portly. However, his Chicago organization was the primary legal defense firm in the country. He primarily focused on federal prosecutions and high-profile criminal defense.

When Jack and the Messengers initially contacted Mark and his partners, they informed them of their many concerns since winning the lottery. Would the government attempt to investigate his winnings? Mark clarified that it was nearly impossible to have won two in a row with the same numbers.

Mark asked numerous thorough questions. Paying close attention, he outright suggested Jack somehow fixed the lottery. Why else would they be here?

Jack, did you or anybody else fix the lottery?

    No, I did not.

He still wasn't entirely convinced by the story. Mark requested the payment of a 25-million-dollar retainer. Jack assented. However, Gabriel and Ariel desired to speak with Mark alone. Jack was instructed to go to the reception area to wait.

After they departed from Mark's firm, Jack asked Gabriel about what had transpired while waiting. Gabriel shared with Jack that he had outlined the overall plan with Mark and questioned him about his faith in God.

It was revealed that Mark was a Messianic Jew, even though his last name did not fit. Mark served as a prominent figure in Cicero, Illinois and commanded respect in the Jewish community in Chicago.

Gabriel stated that Mark understood why God chose him to be a participant. Mark would be supporting Jack, having his back 24/7 over the next few weeks as their plans unfolded. Jack was instructed to pay attention and follow his advice.

Mark linked them with a public relations advertising company. Securing a top-notch PR team to promote their plan would be critical. Upon Mark's recommendation, they hired Anthony and Williams' Information Services. They initially had some difficulty comprehending what Jack and his friends wanted, but ceased inquiring once offered a 10-million-dollar retainer.

The plan was carefully calculated, details crystallized, and they began putting the pieces together on how they were envisioned. However, the PR firm was not completely aware of the spiritual purpose of the overall plan. They simply had to concentrate their efforts on the task at hand.

Mark persuaded Anthony and Williams to follow their specific instructions, no questions asked.
