In a small village nestled in the rolling hills of medieval Europe, young Elinor has always felt drawn to a particular rose bush that grows in her family's garden. As she tends to it, she discovers a hidden letter addressed to her, revealing that she is the descendant of an ancient line of protectors charged with guarding a powerful secret hidden within the petals of the rose. The letter warns her of imminent danger and instructs her to find a mentor who can guide her on the path to fulfill her destiny.
The sun peeks over the horizon, casting a warm glow across the sleepy village of Riverside. Birds chirp merrily from their perches in the trees, and the dew sparkles like diamonds on the lush green grass. In the distance, the river gently flows, its soothing soundtrack adding to the serene ambiance of the place.
Elinor, a young girl of ten summers, stretches her arms above her head and yawns, welcoming the new day. She has always been close to nature, spending most of her days wandering around the village and tending to the many gardens that dot its landscape. Today, she finds herself drawn to her family's garden, nestled at the foot of the hill behind their modest cottage.
Her father, a kind-hearted farmer, has already left for the fields, leaving her in charge of the garden. Elinor, however, has other plans. Ever since she was a little girl, she has been fascinated by a particular rose bush that grows in the garden, its delicate petals the color of the setting sun. It is
