Confident Idiot: A Poetry Collection
By Liz Pardo
()
About this ebook
Confident Idiot was written between 2022 and 2023, as a series of post-it note poems. Liz, when overwhelmed or deeply moved by emotion, due to exterior or interior stressors, writes short, loud poems on post-it notes regarding the subjects that haunt and plague her.
This poetry collection is a way for Liz and her audience to examine, re-examine, encounter, and then re-encounter these intense and/or terrifying emotions inside small, safe boxes, tacked onto walls. Also, for exterior stressors, Liz chooses to shout and protest, hence the title of the poetry collection.
