    Iyawn as I finish counting out the last of the groceries, sliding them into a paper bag. Working at this little family-owned store for nearly two hours has left my feet aching. My long, chocolate brown hair is tied up in a messy bun, some wisps falling down to frame my round, delicate face.

    Leaning against the counter, I close my eyes for just a moment, inhaling the comforting scents of freshly baked bread and roasted coffee. It's almost closing time, and I'm itching to clock out and head home.

    There's always been this sense of wanderlust in the back of my mind, a longing to see the world and experience everything it has to offer. But I've always played it safe, stuck in this small town, ringing up groceries day after day. Yet, the desire is growing stronger, nudging at me like a persistent lover.

    Tonight, I decide, I'm going to act on it.
