()
About this ebook
"I love you."
Carmella smiled at his confession.
"And I hate you," he chuckled. "Not because of what you've done…no."
"Then why-"
"Baby, you need to stop thinking that it's about you when my mind was this way even before I met you, Carmelle. You'll survive me if you remember that," he warned.
Mateo hates her, loves her, needs her in this dark romance. Carmella betrayed him, when he was at his lowest point. Revenge was clearly on his mind. Yet, he awakes a part of her that births a hunger for his wife that surprises him. Now, this wicked game, of Mateo's own design, he's forcing her to play will push him to a limit he never wanted to go...and might destroy them both.
When Carmella realizes the truth, will she be able to get away from Mateo and his Tainted Love?

Tainted Love; Mateo and Carmella Story - Christine Gray
CHAPTER ONE
Javier reached into his back pocket to retrieve his phone. Once recognizing the number, he slowed his steps to distance himself from the other people in his party. The meeting he was heading into wasn’t as important to him as the person that was ringing him on the other line.
Hola.
Hello.
Javi couldn’t help the warmth that showered over him at the sound of the voice. El Nino,
he cried.
Don’t fuckin call me that. That shit pisses me off.
Why the hell do you think I do it, Little Bro,
he laughed. He could almost hear Mateo’s eyes roll.
What’s this I hear that you’ve gotten all chummy with Edwin Gibbs?
Watching his tone, I won’t say all that, but our business is intermingling more and more it seems,
replied Javier.
Hum, I’m happy you didn’t let the fact that he was getting his dick sucked by Carmella keep you from making a million or two.
The conversation went quiet for a second. Mateo had just confirmed what Javi and Lucian had been wondering. So, his brother did know about his cheating wife.
Well, you know what they say about love and money?
No, I don’t. Tell me,
demanded Mateo.
They make for strange bedfellows...and they have a way of making us look like fools,
added Javier.
Suddenly, the noise of Mateo moving around followed by the closing of a door was
heard.
––––––––
In what way?
The way that has people talking,
remarked Javier.
Shit,
hissed Mateo. Clearing his voice, "So you heard about that, huh?
"How the fuck could I not? Andreas was the one that told me about you asking around
at the underground sex auction. You must be either desperate or dumb, grunted Javier.
I’m a little bit of both at the moment."
But not enough to take up your bed and walk, huh?
growled Javier.
The lengths that his brother was willing to go was crazy to consider. If it were him, Javier would have done something about the situation Mateo was in a long time ago. The answer was clear.
We all have our plans for dealing with problems. I like to think of mine to be a lot more...elaborate.
Humph,
was all Javier could muster to say.
So, since you already know what’s going on, can you help?
A rant of Spanish curses fell from Javier’s lips.
I take that as a resounding, yes,
chuckled Mateo.
You are a mutherfu...fine. I’ll help you in your twisted ass game, but I don’t want any shit when it blows up in your face, you sick fuck. Love you, bye.
Mateo laughed.
A twisted game? Javier has no idea what I have in store for Carmella.
He slid his cell back into his pants pocket before he re-enters the room he left to speak privately. As soon as he opened the door, he could hear the low muffled moans. Her hope that the roar of the shower would cover them up was mistaken. He narrowed his eyes. He could almost envision his wife thrusting her hips on the stone floor of the shower.
He hated when she took matters into her own hands instead of coming to him. It wasn’t as if he wasn’t willing. He wasn’t a fool. There were many things wrong with him, but his memory wasn’t one of them. Carmella loved dick. In fact, penetration was a must to make her gush like a leaky faucet. Yeah, she would moan and get his tongue coated with her nectar, but it took the pounding of her cunt to put her lights out.
Mateo bit down on his bottom lip when the humming began. No doubt it was the sound of her dildo joining the party. He inched towards the cracked bathroom door to listen to her pleasure herself.
That should be me, he thought.
He felt the rage coursing through his veins. Nothing that he had done in the past year had made things better. He didn’t know if it were the cumbersome fake dicks he would strap to his mouth to let her fuck his face, or if it was the fact that his own dick was useless, and was a massive turn off that was the issue. Yet, he knew that it was more than that. The ace bandage that held the slack of the tube that had been placed into his bladder, which was attached to a hidden bag to relieve his urine wasn’t a sexy thing to see. Nor was the image of his nightly bowel movement program that called for a suppository something that added to his rugged, manliness.
He chuckled as the anger overtook him. Balling up his fist, he landed a punch on his crotch to beat the source of his frustration. The dead member took the blow. The limp flesh didn’t stir under the abuse. Unzipping his pants, Mateo glared down at 7 inches of sleeping dick. In disgust, he put the dead dog back into his slacks, zipped up his pants, and focused on the grunts of his wife.
It hurt like hell to know that he couldn’t satisfy her. It had hurt even worse to find out that she had cheated on him. Although he had willed himself to understand and not kill her, it did nothing to ease the pain of her betrayal. The priest had made them both agree before God and family to remain faithful through sickness and in health. Yet, she fucked Edwin, of all people, when he needed her most.
It took the sound of the shower door slapping closed to wake him out of his thoughts. Mateo considered leaving the room to save her the embarrassment of him knowing what she had been doing. Then he decided against it. Let her be shamed, if she could muster it. He moved from the door and waited for her to exit.
Pleasurable bath?
he smirked.
He ground his teeth at her reaction. Not shame, but annoyance flashed briefly on her face before she hid it. Yes, she was good at faking and hiding her feelings. He never realized how good she was at that. Mateo would sit for hours and wonder as he replayed the last three years in his mind. Had Carmella always loved him, or was she playing him even then, long before the-
Yes, it was just what I needed,
she replied.
He shifted his weight in his seat. It wasn’t as if he could feel if he was in an uncomfortable position. He was dead from the waist down, after all. The gesture was more out of habit from a time when he had the full use of his body.
Going to work?
It was stupid of him to ask what he could clearly see. Maybe that was why she didn’t respond. Instead, she let her towel drop to began getting dressed. He half listened to her while he examined her body. It was a cruel joke...all the filthy images that came to the forefront of his mind at the sight of her nakedness, knowing damn well he couldn’t do anything to make those dreams come true.
Mateo had
