What is this that I hold in my hand?

A conquest of my own making?

An affection that speaks to my heart?

No, there is no meaning in such things.

What I have found has given me complete control over life.

I was cursed. A defect in my birthing crumbled the image of my family to the kingdom.

My eyes are split at the pupils.

The prophets of these lands foretold of a harrowing omen from the petty goddess they serve, Creia, the goddess of love and creation.
