15 YEARS LATER

‘ BROOM BROOOM’ ‘ Well that’s every thing mum’ says Alexus. A voice from inside the car surrounds the background noises of the birds chirping. ‘great’ Alexus jumps in the car as her mum drives off into the distance. Karen (Alexus’s Mum) turns to Alexus and gives her a warming smile. ‘why do we have to go to dads house?’ with a confused look as she arrived at her father’s previous house. ‘Well, he is in the war and I thought this would remind you of him’ Alexus murmurs to herself ‘that’s the problem’ and it is. Karen grabs the keys and jumbles them around until she finds the right one. She opened the door and there it was. Their new home.

collapses beneath her feet leading her to her past. The room is dark but light from the nearest window leads to a mysterious shape. Alexus looked up. A big glass case stood in front of her. She looked closer. What she saw in the case would only be seen in fairy tales. 2 large wings stood before her eyes.

’what’s happening?’. she looks around seeing only dizziness and voices. Bright lights shoot from her body the glass case opens. The room is surrounded by lashing winds. Webs shoot from her hands. Red fire beaming from her body. her brown wings open up wide and beside her is a spear.

The wind slows down, and the room turns cold. She looks at herself. Her wings stretch wide as if she was flying. And the wings in the glass case are gone. She looks to her left. Her mum standing there in tears on her knees.

‘what’s happening?’ Alexus cries ‘what’s happening?’

Chapter 2

Fire-Storm
