He is a current member of the Royal Court Writer's Group and BFI's Short Film Script Lab, and his first play, Harsh Noise Wall, was longlisted for the 2019 Bruntwood Prize. He won third prize in the 2020 National Poetry Competition for his poem 'Mum with Sword'.
