Introduction
This narrative, which was originally entitled Tale of the Little Fish, of a Starfish and a Little Girl
made it to the finals of the Literary Competition 'Publish Your Book', edition 2021.
When I started writing this long tale, I had to read up on the marine environment and especially the flora and fauna that inhabit the Mediterranean Sea.
I was passionate about it and wanted to pass on some curiosities that fascinated me.
I hope you will enjoy the story of the Little Fish, the journey, the discovery of an aquarium fish when he finds himself in a new habitat, the adventures and legends that populate the seas, this aspect also takes inspiration from the tradition of the most popular legends.
We will experience emotions that the protagonist will feel and arouse, as he discovers himself, his origins, his family, but at the same time, his friendship with a young girl will make us reflect on the values that underpin humanity, which it is always good to recall, to highlight what can be done with goodness and determination.
The most challenging moment was when I had to find the English names for the underwater flora and fauna of the Mediterranean, as it is customary to call them by their local names, so I decided to use the scientific names, often in Latin, a somewhat unusual language. I ask your forgiveness.
This is my first fantasy.
I hope I have lived up to it.
Have a great adventure!
