I wish to thoroughly explain and justify my reasons and thought processes in moving forward and in referencing certain people and situations.

I would like to kindly point out first of all that this is a historical romance, mixing fact and fiction, and as such, things and situations from real life will inevitably and inherently get entangled within the storylines and the structure and foundation of the book. That’s all part of the fun.

And I have noticed and observed chapter by chapter, that I have spoken deferentially and with much respect and integrity to all the people and institutions involved within the substance of the novel. I would dare not offend anyone with in the making of this book, in which I have taken much care and personal pride.

Unfortunately in our modern world, it is to our everlasting shame and disgrace that there are people who actually spend their time and go around stirring up trouble, and picking arguments and fights, and the suing one another for minuscule infractions, and claiming that their rights or that legal lines have been infringed upon, and constantly wishing ill and harm on others for no reason at all. So therefore I feel it is very necessary that I write my own legal disclaimer here. And in doing so, shield myself from all viceful and malicious and unwarranted and unnecessary harmful intent upon my person, my finances, my good and innocent intentions, my steadfast righteous upstanding character, or upon my painstakingly belabored and proud work of literature as an artist who takes license in creating an honorable and timeless work of art.

I am forthwith going into all the details, and making a very long statement regarding and faithfully attesting to my strong integrity, honesty, and my intentions and due careful considerations in moving forward with the content and substance of this book. However if you would like a shorter version of all of this, I would like to draw your attention to countless YouTubers nowadays and what they say in their very short disclaimers proceding their videos. In essence, saying that their sometimes and quite often rude and crude personal opinions and contents are not meant to offend anyone, and if they do, please turn off your television set or change the channel.

Now there are countless people in the general public out there similarly who do not get sued on their various media and social media platforms. And yet often times, what they say or promote are distinctly singular and personal to them, and may sometimes come across strongly or rudely or forcefully, or as being offensive or somehow lacking in grace or virtue or merit to some people in different demographics, cultures, and classes of society. I also understand that it’s difficult to make everyone happy and approving of you all the time.

But if this book does well as I think it very well might, I do not look forward to embracing that animosity or hostility on my watch either. From unreasonable anger and hate spewing people who have nothing better to do and who actively look to seek a quick payday by stirring up trouble. Especially when I have worked so very hard and tirelessly and endlessly in this publication, and dedicated so many countless hours in revising this novel to the readers’ highest standards of comfort and contentment.

So therefore I hereby will, in good faith and reason and due consideration of all factors, lay the long and short of it all out here forthwith.

So that we may all thoroughly understand, and very importantly, be educated in and fully aware of all of my intentions and considerations in gently, kindly, and bravely moving forward, step by step, with caution, love, and due consideration and much respect for the respective parties and associated institutions mentioned within this novel. And beyond that, the fictional narratives and stories written and expanded thoroughly beyond those singular character and institution points. It is my wish and honor to gently take up the reins grandly beyond those initial points in my storytelling and my narratives.

It must be noted and recognized additionally that the admirable and essential story of this novel would fall apart if critical and interesting and highly entertaining omissions were taken out. Much like a Jenga puzzle stack game. I seriously do believe that each and every addition truly enriches and elevates the story and the narrative qualities inherent therein. As a writer and an author, I am very decidedly and thoughtfully concerned in contributing to the entertainment and enjoyment of the novel for the reader on his or her behalf, and in supplementing the smoothness and the cohesiveness of the story. And I certainly wish to show the highest deferential regard and timeless reverence to those people, projects, and institutions who are admirably mentioned within the pages of this novel.

This is a fictionalized story, and yet much is drawn from life and our society and culture, present and past. Much as an autobiography would be allowed to indiscreetly draw and mention people and places in a memoir at the end of the day. However as a caring and thoughtful minister and Christian, my primary intent would be to ennoble the characters and situations within, and bring them to the reader’s mind in a positive welcoming light. My last intention would be to ever offend or step on anyone’s toes in the writing of this book. And I truly believe that only good, positive and helpful things can come from mentioning certain works, projects, and situations contained therein. As it would ultimately draw attention to them in a kind way, and even perhaps promote and gently highlight those institutions and situations in a soft nice and benefiting manner. And I certainly hope and believe that I have been respectful and considerate in my writings at all times, and that no one would take to anything unduly or be offended, as I certainly write with no ill will.

I am herewith crediting the aforementioned artists, films, icons, and institutions contained and respectfully characterized within this book.

Lastly, it must be recognized that that I have been professionally and diligently working in Pro Bono VIP Public Relations since the year 2012. I have never been paid, but I have been working out of endless love for 3,000 VIPs under my wing and in my life during the duration of all these years. And I have had a loving and supportive Open Door Christian Ministry and friendship policy whenever anyone has called upon me for help, advice, support, love, or unconditional friendship. I know just about every VIP in the world, foreign or domestic, and have managed to establish strong and lasting bridges and relationships with all of them over the course of the years. I am fortunate enough and blessed enough to be privy to their insider lives and to their counsel and camaraderie throughout the seasons.

And it must be recognized and documented here as an important sidenote, that throughout my years of involvement with the Worlds of Royalty, Hollywood, politics, the arts, writing, music, entertainment, and sports, I can attest that I have never once had an incident on my watch in which any of my celebrity friends were offended when I posted something on their behalf. On the contrary, they always seemed to welcome and enjoy my involvement in their lives.

And truly I can make a reasonable and grounded observation here: Most of my friends desperately wish I would do it more often. But the situation and the truth of the matter at the end of the day is, there is only one of me to go around and I have so many people to watch out for at the end of the day. As a result, celebrities from all walks of life have difficulty stepping out for me publicly, and the door swings both ways unfortunately. As a minister and a humanitarian and a teacher and a dutiful caring and concerned woman of the community, I would do anything to support my friends a hundred and ten percent. But ultimately I find that it is very difficult and a big sacrifice to be so partisan and particular and favoring to a single family name or a group of individuals, when I am truly scattered across the board in my loyalties, friendships, and also in my lofty ideals. Although there have been many times over the years when it certainly would have made my public and private lives much easier and definitely a lot simpler. Many times I have had to take the long and hard and unpaved road in all of my professional lives and with all the (experienced, practiced, proficient) hats that I wear, starting over and over again from the ground up.

On the other hand, I am truly very blessed. Due to all of my successfully established, rooted, and long term connections and friendships around the world, I have recently been minted as a Marquis Who’s Who Honoree and VIP. And I am listed there for other successful personal and professional accomplishments as well: Read All About It!

But back to business here everyone.

In terms of expanding on my hopes for this book as an artist, craftsman, and as a wordsmith, I am constantly cognizant of writing in highest care and consideration of the readers’ elevated enjoyment and entertainment, chapter by chapter. I’d like to think that I am aware of my audience and their wants in entertainment, and that I have done everything to successfully cater to them while they are enjoying the reading of my novel, which has been carefully crafted to universal tastes and standards. I have diligently tried to engross and capture their curiosity and intrigue as they flip from page to page, and it is my deepest wish that they thoroughly enjoy the distinctly elevated and unique experiences contained within my writings. I hope that it takes them far away to another world, and that it stirs and opens their imagination to all kinds of good things.

I really want this book to be universally entertaining and as reader friendly as possible. I ultimately hope with great thoughtfulness and love for my audience, that readers everywhere will greatly enjoy this classic tale and narrative saga of carefully crafted storytelling and honed writing. I hope that it will captivate their imaginations and stir their souls, and that they will want to relive it time and time again, and pick it up from their bookshelves or their TV consoles year after year.

As a mindful and prudently attentive writer and an adept creative wordsmith, I ultimately dream and aspire for this work of literature to stand the test of all time, and be a favorite among novels, treasured among generations and throughout the years and decades. PREFACE

A lot of tireless labor and love have been put into the writing of my book The Good Witch of Winchester. It’s taken well over a year to write and I am certainly very proud of it. And I do believe that it has the potential to become a classic work of literature that can stand on its own.

Let me speak of the story. It is a romantic saga of the ages circling around our protagonist and heroine. Rosalind Anne Brighton Winchester, raven haired young beauty, ancestors hailing from Salem Massachusetts. Spiritual and devout with a beautiful voice singing on the seashores. Really a witch coming into her knowledge and coming into her powers. Beautiful and captivating and mysterious and ghostly and angelic. From another world and another time. Our young heroine is noble kind-hearted spiritual faithful and true. In her youth and idealistic lofty ways, she is ignorant to the ways of men and to much of the world, but continually strives to do good in the world and support her friends always and every time and continually, and make a difference in their lives it whichever way she can.

And because she is everywhere for everyone, she does travel to so many places around the world in all of her adventures and we see it in our mind’s eye. Reflecting off of hints and clues from the Silver Screen and Hollywood Legends. We put the clues together and eventually we can see a picture of her Rosalind’s and her timeline emerge, quietly documented through the decades of the 1900’s and even to the present day.

And I am certainly very proud of my work The Good Witch of Winchester although I have no idea how it will fare commercially when it comes out. As an adult, I certainly know that money isn’t everything although I certainly hope that it will be well-received by audiences across the board. And I don’t know how it will be received critically although I do have my hopes in that respect. And I do hope to gain positive reviews and hopefully some well deserved and lauded remarks from critics on my first novel. It certainly has been a work of love and careful quality craftsmanship. It was written with pride and a great deal of meticulous consideration for the timeless quality and aspect of the tale. Certainly not a work of fiction that someone just dashed out, but on the contrary, something that has been read and reread and crafted and re-crafted tirelessly and endlessly... to the point of narrative and craftsmanship and storytelling perfection. I think it will unconquerabley and ceaselessly stand the test of time and many many generations of readers.

I have written it with great care and love for the reader’s enjoyment, and I hope that it is the universal enough that most audiences will crave turning the pages and reading from chapter to chapter. I know it’s broad reaching and entertaining and well received enough that Hollywood would be interested in my screenplay version of this timeless and captivating Love Story Saga. I hope to enthrall & enrapture audiences of all ages and demographics with my unique quintessential storytelling capability. And I hope that people are hungry and craving for more after all of that, because I am already excitedly and energetically planning on the sequels to The Good Witch of Winchester.

These last few months I have endeavored to make substantial progress in editing this book by at least 35%. I’ve really perfected the writing and it reads a lot smoother, and it’s a lot more entertaining to readers of all Generations. It is much more of a standard classical work of literature because of all the carefully-crafted edits I have made and belabored over painstakingly for the past few months. And I really think it is paying off, because
