This book is dedicated to several people who have been a very inspirational part of my spiritual journey and still continue to encourage me to soar.

First, to my Spiritual Mom, our dearly departed Senior Pastor, Bishop Aretha E. Morton, of Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral,  whose life and example has been a tremendous influence. She has instilled in me the desire to write, and to write what’s in my heart to encourage others, by blessing those who have not seen, yet they believe. I thank God Almighty, to have breathed in her such powerful words of wisdom and His truth of the Kingdom, while she still outpoured love, guidance, and support throughout her heartfelt spirit. I thank my Bishop for all these things and all that she meant to me and so many others. I am truly grateful for a pastor like no other. I truly thank God for her motherly love that will remain in my heart forever. She will truly and forever be missed. Sleep in peace my Angel. I love you.

Second, to my Executive Pastor, Pastor Mark W. Rainey and his lovely wife, Co-Pastor, Dr. Velva Rainey,  I am very honored and blessed to have you both feeding and nourishing me with God’s Word. I am also grateful for your guidance and encouragement for me to write this book. Your confidence in me has caused me to do, a great work at a time such as this. I love and appreciate you both. May God continue to richly bless you and your entire family. Love Always!

Thirdly, to my family. To my husband, Thomas, I appreciate you for always being patient and standing by my side, while allowing me time to devote to my writing. Thank you for all your love and support. To my beautiful daughters, Tay and Jerrie, you girls are truly my rock. When it comes to me, you girls are tough. You’re always looking out for my best interest. Thank you for inspiring me to keep moving forward and following my dreams to write this book. Thank you both so very much. And to my amazing grandson, Harold, I want you to always follow your dreams and don’t ever give up. Keep doing great in school and getting good grades. I will always be proud of you and support all of your accomplishments. Remember, the sky's the limit. I love you all so much!
