My First Introduction to Christ

My earliest memories of hearing about Jesus were when I started Catholic school in third grade. Sister Zoe was our teacher, and she wore a huge winglike hat on her head and had a string of rosary beads on her hip that she wore like a gun belt. Of course, there was always a mass before school. The beads were wooden and as big as large marbles. I was fascinated with all of this falderal, and yet, Saturdays were for Catechism of which I was extremely bored and had no idea what they were talking about. We also had to do the twelve stations of the cross, which I really had no clue about.
