"All Families are Special" is an informative book that teaches readers about the different types of families. The language is descriptive, giving brief, but informative information about each individual family told from the perspective of the individual students. This book is based on real people from a real elementary school. The book pushes readers to think about their own families, and the special things that make their family unique and special. Aside from being a fun and entertaining read, it is also accurate, and it presents the information in a clear, easy to understand way. The message is the most important part of this story: everyone has a family, and each one is different in its own special way.
