Whispers of Merlonvill - Hye Velene
Chapter 1: The Excavation Day
Merlonville was a quaint little town nestled between deep forest and a meandering rivers. The town had a charm that seemed to exist outside of time, and at the heart of it all was Merlon Elementary School, a charming brick building with ivy-covered walls, and a bell tower that rang to mark the hours.
On a sunny morning, students and townsfolk alike gathered on the school's lush, green front lawn. A tall oak tree stood near the entrance, providing a canopy of shade under which three best friends eagerly awaited the start of a unique event.
Salomon, the ringleader of the trio, was a boy with a perpetually curious glint in his bright blue eyes. His unruly brown hair often hid his face as he leaned over books and maps, seeking answers to all the questions that filled his mind.
Salomon had a reputation for being the town's budding young historian, always eager to explore the hidden corners of Merlonville and its mysteries.
Illytha, his inseparable companion, contrasted Salomon with her vivacious spirit and a penchant for adventure. With her fiery red hair and mischievous grin, she was always ready to leap into any escapade, whether it was climbing trees, exploring caves, or solving puzzles. Illytha was the kind of friend who made any adventure more exciting.
Fran, the third trio member, was the calming presence among them. His blonde hair and quiet, thoughtful nature balanced out Salomon and Illytha's vitality.
Fran had a knack for solving tricky puzzles and was known as the voice of reason in their group. His friends often turned to him when they needed guidance.
As the school principal stepped up to the podium, the friends exchanged excited glances. The school's courtyard was bustling with activity as students, parents, and townsfolk gathered around the massive hole that had been dug for the time capsule excavation. The anticipation was palpable.

We're about to uncover a piece of our town's history,
the principal announced, his voice filled with pride. This time capsule has been buried for half a century, and today, we'll open it to reveal the secrets of the past.
Salomon, Illytha, and Fran exchanged excited whispers. The thought of unearthing secrets from Merlonville's history sent shivers down their spines.
The principal continued, This time capsule was buried on the town's centennial celebration. It was the year 1973, a time when Merlonville was thriving and the community was filled with hope and dreams for the future. Our town had grown from a small settlement to a vibrant community.
As the principal spoke, the kids could almost picture the bustling streets, the fashions of the time, and the joy of the town's residents during that historic moment.
We hope that the contents of this time capsule will help us connect with the past, remind us of the journey that brought us here, and inspire us for the future. Let's begin!
With that, the students and townsfolk gathered around the excavation site, eagerly watching as the workers carefully extracted the sealed time capsule from the ground.
It was a wooden box, covered in layers of
