GETTING HIS GRADE UP
Chapter One
Spring break is only a month away and the whole college seems to be in a good mood.
Josh Holloway is having a particularly good week. After having to work his way through his freshman year, he’s just been told that he’s eligible for a scholarship next year – he just needs to get an overall A grade and it’s his. On top of that, when his mom heard about the scholarship, she agreed to pay for his spring break vacation so he’s off to Palm Springs next month. And last but certainly not least, his favorite professor is looking particularly fine today.
Of course, Professor Quill always looks good – that’s why he’s Josh’s favorite. He’s British, for a start, and that accent does all kinds of things for Josh’s libido. It’s only ever served to make Josh try harder to get a reaction, though if he got one it sure as hell wouldn’t make him stop. Josh has had a crush on Quill since his very first college class and it’s not going away any time soon.
Though I gotta ask: do you actually own any clothes that aren’t black?
I have some polka dot bowties,
Quill says drily and puts the assignment face down on Josh’s desk. A whole rainbow of them.
Now that I’d like to see.
The class bursts into giggles and Quill hands out the rest of the assignments in silence. Returning to the table at the front of the room, he leans back against it and gives Josh an annoyed look.
Mr. Holloway, perhaps if you spent less time joking around and more time concentrating on your work, you wouldn’t have done so badly in your assignment,
Quill says, and Josh frowns. He always does great in Quill’s class; Literary Theory is his favorite subject and not just because he has a hot professor.
He turns over the
