INTRODUCTION

One of the most important and valuable services that has been highly devalued, criticized and misunderstood by men is protocol. When people do not understand the purpose of a thing, they me either abuse it or criticize it destructively. This is how bad ignorance can be.

This ignorance about protocol and its importance is the reason some people see the use of protocol services as pride on the part of those using it. There are those who think of the use of protocol as ungodly on the part of those using it. And there are those of think of the use of protocol services as unnecessary. All because they do not understand why protocol services should be used!

The people who seem to be most criticized for using protocol services are pastors. And this is so because most people do not understand that even God uses protocol services in heaven and in the earth. When Jesus Christ came to the earth for his earthly ministry, he used protocol services too. Protocol service has its origin in God and it is used not only by God, but also by Jesus Christ and mankind because of how valuable and important it is to very important personalities.

A person may not see the need for protocol services when he is still at the bottom part of the ladder of life, because the importance of protocol services is mostly and better seen or discovered and appreciated, when a person gets to the top part of the ladder of life. Where there are no very important personalities, there may be no need for protocol services. But once a very important personality is present in a place, the need for protocol services becomes inevitable. This is how it has been in heaven and earth, and from Genesis to Revelation! Only that some people are still ignorant of this truth for reasons best known to.

This book is therefore meant to help such people and as well help solve other problems that have risen over time because of such level of ignorance. For those very important personalities who may have actually known the importance of protocol services, but still chose to deny themselves of its benefits because of what ignorant people are saying or would say, this book will help to restore the place and benefits of protocol services back to their lives.

I also believe that, there are other people who would like to start offering protocol services as a money making business after reading this book. There are lots of blessings in this book that you cannot afford to miss. Read it meditatively, and you will be glad you did.

Chapter One

WHAT IS PROTOCOL?

A ll things should be done with regard to decency and propriety and in an orderly fashion 1 Corinthians 14:40 (AMP).

The term protocol comes from a Greek word that means the first glue. It can be understood as the glue which holds together official life in the society. Whether on the local, state, national or international level, proper protocol is vital in assuring that relationships and events between the public or officials of organizations (including the church) and senior government officials or very important personalities, are conducted with decency and propriety and in an orderly fashion or with minimum friction and maximum efficiency. And this is the will of God.

God is not one who likes things to be disorderly and upset. He likes harmony, and he finds it in all the other churches 1 Corinthians 14:33 (TLB).

Protocol is therefore the proper procedure of a system of rules and acceptable behavior used to govern the relationships and events between the public or officials of organizations (including the church) and senior government officials or very important personalities (VIPs).Usually, proper protocol helps to establish an organization
