For our Gregorian calendar, it is customary for dates to be oriented according to the course of the sun. Easter is different: it falls on a different date every year because the period is based on the lunar months. The fixed rule is that we celebrate Easter on the first weekend after the first full moon of spring. This date can be March 22 at the earliest and April 25 at the latest.

In 1682, the Easter Bunny as we know it today was described by the Frankfurt physician Johannes Richier in the reproduction of a fable. The spread of the Easter Bunny increased significantly with the beginning of the 20th century. However, until then there were other domestic animals that were believed to have this fabulous task.
