This book teaches us how to Pray to God, the way he wants us to talk to him. It teaches us how to receive answers to our prayers. It teaches us that we don't have to be highly educated, and speaking Fancy Words, to be heard and receive God's blessings. If we can talk to God, one on one, in that Spiritual Connection, we will be Heard. We just need to be humble, be sincere, and be ourselves. This book includes prayers a child can pray.

I was born, Charlotte Delores Feacher, in St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest city in the Nation. My biological father was Cherokee Native American, but my stepfather raised me. He was a Farmer and a Baptist Minister. He and my mother, both not of the Indian ancestry, were loving parents who loved me dearly, and taught me and my stepsister about goodness early in my life. I was raised near the famous St. Johns River on a Farm. We had Cows, Hogs, Mules, Horses, Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys, Dogs and Cats on the Farm. We sold our meat, poultry and vegetables, to two public grocery stores 40 miles into town. We had one neighbor, and they had no children; so my sister and I were very close. We did everything together; she was my very best friend. Because my father was a minister, we were taken to church every Sunday, and that is where we learned good morals, and heard good words of inspiration that influenced my life. I was motivated by words to live by. I was always a wise thinker and was told that I was inspirational throughout my years in school. We moved to Miami, Florida when I was fourteen. It was like moving to New York city, to a young country girl. I was so excited; I was moving to this large city, with city lights and lots of people. I had no interest as a young girl in playing softball with my sister and friends. I would sit on the front porch of my home, and crochet dollies, afghans or read books. I started a scrapbook of a collection of quotations that were inspirational to me. I dreamed about writing my own book someday, and would try my hand at it, when no one was around. I discovered during that time that I had a natural talent for writing. I wrote song lyrics, poems and short stories. I thought my writing was good, but still put them aside, and never thought about pursuing writing as a Career. I went into the Medical Field, and never developed my writing skills. I never went to an institution or college to learn how to write; so this book is just an expression of raw talent. I raised my two children as a single parent and tried to teach them to be good individuals. I've taught them to be positive thinkers, and I've given them my words of wisdom to live by. I am growing old now, and when you grow old, time isn't always on your side. When I started to have Grandchildren, and with Great Grandchildren coming, I knew that I needed to leave them some encouraging words to live by. I thought about the thoughts I'd been writing over the years, and I began to start writing again. In spite of the fact that I am self-taught and gifted and didn't attend the best Universities to learn how to write and express myself, I still had something I needed to say. I wrote this book, because I believe my words will be an inspiration to others. My hope is to encourage those who read my book, to be inspired and motivated to be a better person.

I want to thank my children and my friends who encouraged me to write this book. So many times, I put down my pen and pad and walked away from my desk, feeling so disgusted and frustrated that I would never get this book written.

It was at these times, Angel like voices from my children and friends, would whisper in my ear how important it was for me to say what I needed to say and get up and do it now. And someone would always put my pen back in my hand.

It teaches us that we don’t have to come to God highly educated, with fancy words to be heard and receive blessings. If we can talk or sign, we can pray. We Just need to be humble, be sincere, and be ourselves.

There are prayers even a young child can pray. If we pray these prayers and have FAITH in what we pray for, we will get our prayers answered. It isn’t hard to get through to God. We Just need to acknowledge him and believe in Him. That’s ALL it takes.

Let’s Take Time to Thank Our Lord

Dear Father, we always have a list of wants and needs to bring before you every day, but today we are taking time to THANK You for the things You have given us.

Father, we know it is true that we are in Your FAVOR, because we are Your children. We thank you Father, for You guide our steps each day, You keep us on the right track of righteousness, You remove the roadblocks from our paths, and You lead us NOT into temptation…. WE THANK YOU.

Father, you give us the sunlight to wake us up. You give us the night, which is calm, so we can sleep. You were here this morning to take our hand and lead us on our way. You will be the One to bring us safely home again.... WE THANK YOU.

Father, You have laid HEALING hands on the sick and have made them well. You have given strength to those who were weary spiritually. You have renewed our spirits and cleansed our hearts, as You brought us into Your spirit.... WE THANK YOU.

Father, You have brought friends into our lives. You have brought us soulmates. You are finding good husbands and wives for us. You are teaching us what LOVE is, and how to LOVE each other.... WE THANK YOU.

So now Father, as we look around on ALL that You have done for us and we think about ALL that you will do for us, we take time to say: THANK YOU FATHER. Thank You for loving us. Thank You for giving us Your only son, Jesus Christ, to save us from SIN. Thank You for KNOWING our needs and our wants. Thank You for KEEPING PEACE on this earth. Thank You for feeding the hungry and giving shelter to the homeless. Thank You for CURING habitual addictions. Thank You for Your WORD and Your SPIRIT. And most of ALL, thank You for being our Lord and Savior.

Are We A Work In Progress,

Or Are We Ready?

Father, many of us have known You most of our lives. When we were but young children, most of our Christian families, introduced us to: The Our Father’s Prayer, the grace at the dinner table, Church and Bible study on Sunday’s and the awareness that we are Your children.

Some of us were introduced to you later in life. Many of us on our own by visiting the Church, by seeing Your ministry on television or by having conversations about You with Christian people. Father, it is for SURE, You are NO stranger to any of us. We KNOW that You are our creator and ALL of us are Your children.

We know that we can pray to You, not necessarily in a format but as we talk to You, one on one. You will hear us. And You will answer a SINCERE prayer. We also know that we should NOT pray a prayer where someone else has told us what to pray for. A prayer should come from our hearts, and we must say what WE want. We also KNOW that we should NEVER call Your name in VAIN or MOCK this religion. Man often confuses us by his version of who he thinks you are and what powers lie in Your spirit.

Father, we continue to GROW in Your spirit and let You LIVE in our hearts. Satan is NOT satisfied with our Christian BELIEFS; and tries to draw us away from our FAITH. We are learning how to discern the voice of Satan, and Your voice. We are learning how to WALK in the footsteps of Jesus, our Savior. Through your spirit of LOVE and COMPASSION, we are learning how to LOVE each other. We are learning how to FORGIVE each other. We are learning how to SHARE what we have with others; and we are learning how to PRAY with each other.

Each day is a learning experience for us. The preachers give us our daily bread, through the words they speak about you. We RECEIVE our healing from the prayers that we pray to You. We become MEEK and HUMBLE, by the way we learn from you. We become BELIEVERS, by the TRUST we have in Your WORD. Because we are Christians and BELIEVE in You; You have let us into your spirit. We try to live so others can see the GLORY of You in us. We try to WALK in the path of righteousness. We let our LIGHT shine each day, as we try to HELP someone out of the DARKNESS with our prayers.

We STILL have a lot to LEARN; and we have a lot to do, before we can make it into the promised land. Father, we are WORKING on it. We are READY for you to LEAD us and GUIDE us in the direction You want us to go. We are READY to TAKE up our CROSSES in your name. We are READY to SPREAD Your WORD to ALL who will LISTEN. We are READY to OBEY your spirit. So, we ask ourselves: Are we READY, or are we a WORK In PROGRESS?

And we answer: WE ARE READY! Amen.

The Heart Knows When

lt’s Time To Be Kind

Friend, in this world of hurry

And work and sudden end

If a thought comes quick of doing

A kindness to a friend.

Do it this very instant!

Don’t put it off-don’t wait;

What’s the use of doing a kindness

If you do it a day too late?

Father, people that aren’t treated kind, are lonely. The lonely are such sad people. The lonely withdraw themselves from everyone, because they are remembering those who were unkind to them. They feel lost, unwanted, unneeded, and unloved. The lonely have low self-esteem. They feel rejected because they feel that mistreatment is in their cards. The heart knows when it is time for us to show ourselves friendly. The heart knows when it is time to show how kind we can be, as Christian Warriors.

There is really NO need for anybody to feel rejection and hatred from any other human being. We are supposed to be living in the spirit of LOVE and MERCY, and we should show care for everybody. The heart will lead us to those who are feeling down and out. We’ll see it on their faces. We’ll see it in their demeanor. Their voice will show it. We won’t be able to walk away from them, for our hearts won’t let us. And Father, it is then, that You will let us know what You want us to do for our sister or brother.

Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving, one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Eph. lV:32

Father, it is so easy to be kind to others; all we have to do is think about living as Christ did. He was always a listener, and he was always ready to pray for someone. His heart was kind. He was led by His heart, and as FOLLOWERS of Christ and Christian Warriors, we must do the same. Help us to be like Your son was; help us to be led by our hearts. Our hearts will show us how to be kind. The heart knows when it’s time to be kind. Amen

God’s Love For Us

For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

St. John 3:1.6

(GOD THOUGHT ABOUT US, BEFORE THERE WAS ANYTHING)

1. In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.

26. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and every living creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27. So God created man and in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis1:!-26-27

The Bible states that, You revealed Your love for mankind, by giving rule over everything to us. Father, you have proven Your LOVE for us. countless numbers of times. We only need to prove our love for You ONCE. You do want something from us though, because You are a jealous God, You want to know that we ARE in our spirit; and have FAITH and BELIEF in You alone. We will do what pleases You, to show our LOVE for you. This is what You want from us:

To believe in You enough to TRUST You.

To believe with our hearts, souls, minds, bodies and spirit, that You are our Father.

To believe you LOVE us.

To believe Your WORD.

To believe You ANSWER prayers.

To believe You heal the sick.

To believe You forgive our sins.

To fear You, and have NO other God before You.

To obey Your commandments.

Father, you don’t ask much of us, to receive Your spirit of Love. There is NOT a time, we could go before You, and NOT be heard. Many blessings are received, before we even ask for them. You protect us, from ALL hurt, harm and danger, because You LOVE us. You light our paths each day, and keep us on the right track of life. You take our hands and lead us on our daily journeys. You take away our sadness. You kiss away our tears. You take away our pain and suffering. You pick us up, when we fall down. You protect us from Satan. You give us food and shelter. You help us through our TRIALS and TRIBULATIONS. You only ask us to be patient, and wait for our blessings; because You KNOW when the time is right.

You are a WONDERFUL Father. You are our CONFIDANT and our EVERYTHING. You are the BEGINNING and the END. You are ALMIGHTY. Some of us don’t feel worthy of Your love, but You give it freely to ALL. There is NO GREATER love than Your LOVE for Your children. You love the bad ones of us, as well as the good. Your LOVE is in our spirit, in our hearts, in our minds, in our bodies, and in our souls. We pray today, that ALL of Your children, will realize how much You love us. Thank You for LOVING us. Amen

Living In God’s Spirit

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.

Gal. V:22-23

‘Tis God himself the ground prepares,

his spirit, sows the land;

And every pleasant fruit it bears;

Is nurtured by his hand.

Father, Your spirit is a composite of our spirit. We are who we are, because Your kind spirit is within us. You are everything we say, everything we think, and everything we do. You are the lifeline of a Christian. We are Your children, and if we are a part of Your spirit, then indeed we are Christlike.

Christ was LOVE. Christ was FORGIVING. Christ always turned the other cheek, because he was MEEK and HUMBLE. Christ lived and taught about You, His father. Christ NEVER left someone to suffer. Christ was a HEALER, a TEACHER, and a COMFORTER. He always brought Your spirit with Him. And He let Your light shine on us.

Christ was NEVER in a HURRY. He took time out to sit by the rivers and pray and meditate, and ask You to PROTECT us. Father, as we are living in Your spirit, those who are called to, will preach Your Word; other will teach, in Your name, others will sing like Angels, in Your name, some will prophecy, and some will heal in Your name. In Your spirit Father, there is POWER. And You give us the authority to do Your work, down here on earth. You are working MIRACLES through us.

He will complete the work begun;

He will hit own defend,

Will give me strength my course to run;

And love me to the end.

Father, we will continue to pray each day, for our sisters and brothers, and believe You will answer the prayers. You are working through Your spirit with us Prayer Warriors, and people that we pray for, are being blessed. The lives of many, are changing through Your spirit. and You are HEALING the sick through us. We are grateful to be in Your service. We are NOBODY without You. We can do NOTHING without You. We have NO powers, and can give out NO blessings. That is done through Your spirit, and Your spirit ONLY. If we believe in You, and live in Your spirit, You will use us as instruments to do Your work.

Father, because we live in your spirit, people will look upon us, and see Your LOVE shining through us. We don’t have to go around, preaching to everyone we see, that we are Christians; the world will know, by the way we walk, the way we talk, and the way we act. They will see it, in our eyes. They will hear it, in our conversation. They will see it, in our smile. They will see the Godlike things we do for others. They will see it, because we have HUMBLE spirits, and because we are MEEK. They will see it, because we are LOVING, and CARING and COMPASSIONATE. They will see it, because we are FORGIVING. They will see it because, we sing Your PRAISES. Your spirit will radiate through us, in ALL we say and do.

Father, Your spirit of GOODNESS, will dominate the way we raise our children. The way we take care of family and friends, The way we reach out to, the less fortunate; and the way we share what we have with others. We are FEELING good to be in Your spirit. Amen.

How To Get Rid Of The Enemy

GOO DELIVERS US:

He delivereth me from mine enemies; yea, thou liftest me above those that rise up against me. Psalm XVlll:48

Foes are round us, but we stand;

On the borders of our land,

Jesus, God’s exalted son;

Bids us undismay’d go on,

Onward then we gladly press;

Through this early wilderness.

Father, help us to realize that the enemy has NO power over us, as does not Satan. The enemy is of Satan’s spirit. The enemy is destructive to us. He is HATEFUL, he is ENVIOUS, and he is UNGODLY. The enemy wants to be FEARED, but we Christians, only FEAR God.

Our enemies don’t want us to succeed; they want us to FAIL. Ever thought You had a friend, and you trusted that friend, and told that friend ALL of your thoughts, your desires, what you are going to do in life; and PRESTO…. all of a sudden, that friend is the very reason, ALL of your dreams DIED. Some of us have friends, who are taking instructions from Satan, to TEAR our wor1d apart. But, if Your spirit lives in us, Your spirit will destroy the power of Satan’s, that such friend wants to have over us.

Father, our enemy cannot be our friend as well. NO one who will try to discourage us, can be called a friend. NO one who will speak mean things about us to another, can be called a friend. Just because a person calls himself our friend, does NOT qualify that to be so. Sometimes. a friend can be an enemy in Sheep’s clothing.

There are those, who will shake our hand with one hand, and stab us in the back with the other hand: yet they say I’m your friend. Lord help us to understand, that Jesus, is our only friend. He will NEVER deceive us, or mislead us, or harm us. If Your spirit is in us, we WILL know our enemies. We will be able to discern the GOOD from the BAD. The kind from the evil. The loving from the hateful; and the worst enemy of All. ls the one who is JEALOUS of us. Jealousy triggers all the bad that is in an individual. A jealous person, will do All that is in their power to destroy us, just because they don’t like
