From Gangsters to God's - Hash Blink

    From Gangsters to God’s

    A suspense novel

    Chapter 1

Tissidy sat in the dark, dingy room, sweat pouring down his face. He had never been more terrified in his life. The men standing before him were ruthless, with no mercy in their eyes. They held guns, cocked and ready to fire.

You owe us money, one of them growled, pointing the gun at Tissidy's head. Big money. And we want it now.

Tissidy had gotten himself into this mess years ago, when he was a young gangster trying to make his way up the ranks. He had borrowed money from these very same men, thinking he could pay them back quickly. But the money had gone to drugs and alcohol, and now he was in over his head.

I don't have it, Tissidy stammered, his heart racing. Please, just give me a little more time.

The men laughed cruelly, and Tissidy knew he was as good as dead. He closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable gunshot.

But then, something strange happened. A blinding light filled the room, and Tissidy could hear angelic voices singing. The men before him were thrown to the ground, writhing in pain.

And then, standing before him, was a figure he had never seen before. It was a man, with kind eyes and a gentle smile.

Tissidy, the man said. I've been watching you for a long time. You're meant for greater things than this.

Tissidy was confused and trembling, but he felt a sudden peace wash over him.

Come with me, the man said, offering his hand. Let me show you the way to God's path.

Tissidy hesitated for only a moment before taking the man's hand and standing up. He knew he was leaving his old life behind, but he had never felt more sure of anything in his life.

Together, they left the dark, dingy room and stepped out into the sunlight. Tissidy had a feeling his life would never be the same again.

    Chapter 2

Tissidy follows the kind man out of the dark room and into a bright hallway. He notices the gun-wielding men are nowhere to be seen. The man escorts him to a spacious room with a large table at the center. Around the table are several men and women, all looking at him with smiles.

Welcome, Tissidy. We've been expecting you, says the man with kind eyes.

Tissidy feels nervous but curious. He surveys the faces of the people around the table and notices that they all have a sense of calmness about them. He also notices that they are dressed modestly, in contrast to his flashy suit.

The man with kind eyes introduces him to the others who all share their stories - former drug lords and gangsters, now committed to serving God. Tissidy is awed by the stories of redemption and restoration.

Over time, Tissidy learns from these people and begins to change. He starts to read the Bible and attend church services regularly. He trades in his flashy cars and designer clothes for a humble lifestyle. His former associates try to lure him back into his old life, but he resists.

But Tissidy's newfound faith is put to the test when a rival gang targets him. They want to eliminate him for good. Tissidy turns to his new friends for help, and they rally around him in prayer.

The night the rival gang arrives at Tissidy's doorstep, they are surprised to find him at peace. He tells them he no longer wants any part of their violence. The rival gang is momentarily confused, but they soon leave without harming him.

Tissidy realizes his faith had saved him once again. He continues to grow in his relationship with God, and his life's purpose changes from one of violence and greed to one of serving God and helping his fellow man.

    Chapter 3

Tissidy found himself surrounded by a group of men and women, all of whom had a past much like his. They had all lived their lives as gangsters, drug dealers, and criminals until they found their way to God's light. Tissidy was amazed at how their faces glowed with inner peace and joy.

For the next several weeks, Tissidy learned about God and read the Bible in depth. He had never found anything as profound and beautiful as the words in the book. Each morning he would participate in prayer with his newfound brothers and sisters, and the peace he felt was almost palpable.

One day, Tissidy received a message from his past; his old gang was seeking his head as they were still owed money. But Tissidy was not afraid. He knew that God was with him, and he headed to a meeting with them. As he walked alone towards the place where they were all waiting, he felt an inner peace, and he knew that God had his back.

As Tissidy arrived, the leader of the gang reached for his gun, but before he could pull the trigger, a sudden gust of wind blew his hand to the side, and the bullet missed Tissidy by inches.

The gang was shocked, and one of them whispered, What the hell was that? Tissidy looked around him, and he saw that he was once again surrounded by a bright light, and he knew that God

    was with him.

From that day on, Tissidy's faith in God grew stronger, and he dedicated the rest of his life to spreading the word of God. He knew that he had been blessed, and he was determined to help others find their way to God's path.

    Chapter 4

Tissidy spent the next few months immersed in his newfound faith, attending church regularly and spending time with his fellow ex-gangsters turned believers. He felt a sense of peace he had never experienced before, and his desire to spread the word of God continued to grow stronger.

One day, he received a call from his old gang leader, who was still upset about Tissidy leaving the gang and joining a church. The leader made it clear that he had no intention of letting Tissidy go, and threatened to harm him and his family if he didn't come back to the gang.

Tissidy was faced with a difficult decision - he could either leave his newfound faith and return to the dangerous life of a gangster, or he could trust in God to protect him and his loved ones.

He prayed fervently for guidance and received the answer he was hoping for - he knew in his heart that he had to stand firm in his faith and trust that God would protect him. He called the police and reported the threats, and they promised to keep an eye on him and his family.

Days turned into weeks, and Tissidy continued to live in the shadow of the threat from his old gang. But with each passing day, his faith grew stronger, and he felt a deep sense of peace knowing that he was on the right path.

At a church service one Sunday, Tissidy shared his testimony with the congregation, telling them about his former life as a gangster and how he had found his way to God's path. Tears streamed

down his face as he spoke, and he felt a sense of freedom he had never experienced before.

As the service ended and people began to leave, a man approached Tissidy and introduced himself as an undercover police officer. He told Tissidy that they had arrested the leader of his old gang, and that he was no longer a threat.

Tissidy fell to his knees, overwhelmed with gratitude and relief. He knew that it was God who had protected him and his family, and he vowed to continue to spread the word of God to anyone who would listen.

    Chapter 5

Tissidy was over the moon with the news of the gang leader's arrest, but he knew he couldn't let his guard down just yet. He had made many enemies in the past and he had to tread carefully.

One night, Tissidy was walking home from church when he sensed somebody was following him. He quickened his pace and took a shortcut through an alleyway, but the footsteps behind him only grew closer.

Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his back and everything went black.

When he came to, he realized he was tied up in a dark, dingy room with no windows. His hands were tied behind his back and his mouth was gagged.

He tried to scream, but all that came out was a muffled noise.

Then, he heard a familiar voice.

Well, well, well, look who we have here. Tissidy, my old friend. You thought you could just leave the gang and start a new life, huh? That's not how it works, my friend.

It was the voice of his former gang leader. He had somehow

managed to get out on bail and was back to his old tricks.

I gave you a chance to come back to us, Tissidy, but you chose to side with God. Now, you'll pay the price.

The gang leader motioned for his men to bring in a metal bat. Tissidy knew he was in for a brutal beating, but he refused to give up his faith.

I may be tied up and helpless, but I am not alone, he thought to himself. God is with me and He will protect me.

Just then, the door burst open and a group of police officers barged in, guns drawn.

    Freeze! Hands up! they shouted.

The gang members were caught off-guard and Tissidy managed to wriggle his way free. He ran outside, tears streaming down his face, and saw the sun rising over the city. He fell to his knees and thanked God for saving him once again.

From that day on, Tissidy made it his mission to help others find God's path and turn their lives around. He knew that it wouldn't be easy, but he also knew that he wasn't alone. God was with him every step of the way.

    Chapter 6

Tissidy walked down the street with a smile on his face, his heart full of gratitude for his transformation. He had been invited to a youth outreach program at a nearby church and was excited to share his story of redemption with the younger generation.

As he approached the church, he noticed a woman sitting on the steps. She looked lost and vulnerable. Tissidy approached her and offered a friendly smile.

Hello. Are you okay? he asked gently.

The woman looked up at him and sighed. I don't know. I feel so lost. I don't know where to turn.

Tissidy sat down next to her. I understand how you feel. I was once lost too. But I found my way through faith in God.

The woman looked at him skeptically. "I don't know if I believe in God. But I'm willing to listen. Can you tell me more
