The Course
Heaven’s harps hang on blessed willows as the nightmare of self-reflecting for the rest of our tomorrow’s is sharp enough to pierce pillows. Don’t hang life’s surprises and hopes on your fears. Yet, hang on to my words and drink the vastness of them like a fine whiskey until you realize the end is infinite. As you try to search your heart for the remnant of treasures blessed upon you by experiences. Run toward the openly outstretched arms of the moon for safety and security with the sun while simultaneously giving your shadow third degree burns stemming from your past.
Try to walk the fine line and not tip the Libra scales in either direction; there is a lesson in this blessing of focus and dedication. Stay the course and be someone else’s pride and motivation as well as their protection.
Winter 2023
Next winter, when my wings made of diamond dust finally grow, I’ll finally be free of all my 2022 woes. Free to soar over ocean seashores where the sun shines and optimistic energies bombard my very own pores. A place where those same energies infiltrate my veins leaving me wanting more, when my winter wings finally grow.
Next winter, I will metaphorically be guided by rainbows of joy to a place where I’m valued, and my heart isn’t a toy. A place where Gods beauty brings me to my knees, a place where other people rarely see, a place that is literally the definition of me that few people know, when my winter wings finally grow.
Next winter, I want to wake up by the grace of God and begin to pray holding onto a single rose that’s supposed to represent the love that I lost right under my nose. Dwelling in a serene scene like a secret meadow, I’ll carry deep conversations like I’m seeking wisdom from Plato. He then begins to tell me that my words control his thoughts like the great wood maker Geppetto. I want others to join me and share in my newfound glee, when my winter wings grow next year...2023!
Pen and Pad
Like an owl at noon with a pen or a venomous scorpion with wings I eject dark and dangerous thoughts through my fingertips onto my note pad hoping to find some kind of insight into my brain. Silhouettes of life’s questions pirouetting around my cranium like headless dancers refusing to give me answers. Trying to
