One year ago…

Adrian roared in fury as the landmine he’d stepped on tore through his lower extremities. The blast propelled him forward, and as he landed on the hot, hard earth, he rolled onto his back. Ignoring the screams of his comrades in arms, he squinted, willing the dust to clear.

Adrian! yelled Landry, a White Liger Shifter and one of his captains, Fuck! Callan, get me a tourniquet!
