Obvious: Seeing the Evil That's in Plain Sight and Doing Something About It
By Albin Sadar and Eric Metaxas

About this ebook
How has our society changed so dramatically and so quickly, especially in the last fifty years?
Today, the changes mock and seek to recreate the basic tenets of God’s creation:
ogender identities
othe sanctity of human life
othe structure of family and society
othe relationship with and care of the earth
othe Ten Commandments
These changes also undermine the Judeo-Christian values inherent in the creation of America:
ofreedom vs. authoritarianism
onational sovereignty vs. globalism
opersonal privacy vs. state surveillance
ounified national identity vs. racial and ethnic divisiveness
oequality of opportunity vs. equity or equality of outcome
Obvious forces us to examine what’s in front of our faces before it’s too late to turn back.
“Sadar’s book deftly details the truth we all crave with disarming humor, endearing charm and inspiring enthusiasm. Buy several as gifts for friends and foes, obviously.”
—Sam Sorbo, award-winning filmmaker, best-selling author, education freedom advocate
“Topping the ‘Most Obvious’ list is Sadar’s compelling case recounting (get it?) the stolen election of 2020, making this book a must-read!”
—Kevin Sorbo, actor, director, producer, author, and all around good guy
“Obvious is a funny, thorough, detailed, and researched gourmet meal of truth you can share with your uninformed and clueless friends. You'll all finish it fatter, smarter, and happier.
It says everything I want to say, but better than I can say it.”
—Victoria Jackson, SNL alum, actress, stand-up, songwriter, and author of Is My Bow Too Big? and Lavender Hair
“Full of wit and a truckload of common sense, Albin Sadar’s new book, Obvious, is a refreshing compilation of tales, including true stories and legendary whoppers, that offer a much needed reminder that contrary to what some might say, the sky is blue, the grass is green, and thankfully, God is good.”
—Lucas Miles, pastor, film producer, and author of Woke Jesus

Advance Praise for Obvious

"Sadar addresses some of the most important issues facing our nation…and our generation. Obvious confronts, challenges, and inspires. A must-read for anyone interested in the truth."
—Michael Wilkerson, strategic advisor, investor, and author of Why America Matters
Today’s Maoist-inspired revolutionaries are transforming the social and spiritual landscape of our country at breakneck speed. But isn’t that obvious? Timely and groundbreaking, this book courageously confronts this generation’s greatest horrors with unassailable truth. Albin Sadar will rally, equip, and encourage you to stand tall in turbulent times.
—Ryan Helfenbein, Liberty University and executive director of the Standing for Freedom Center
"Dear Christian reader: what you are about to peruse here is not some light, summer beach-reading that requires nada from the reader. This fresh opus, from Albin Sadar’s comedic cranium, is a prophetic exhortation to be a dynamic biblical force in the earth and not an evil-assisting evangelical farce. This book will jack with you. Good luck turning a blind eye to obvious Satanic bovine scatology after reading this spicy tome. Obvious: Seeing the Evil That’s in Plain Sight and Doing Something About It should be required reading for every Christian who cares about the Church, Family, and State. This book is a brutal critique of the dumb and dilatory person. In addition, it’s a great call to action for the concerned Christian. It also serves as a biblical blueprint for scriptural reform where things have become deformed through ignorance and sin. Count yourself blessed to be reading this book from Albin Sadar."

"Radio personality and commentator Albin Sadar has volunteered for the thankless task of interrupting the experts and contradicting the crowds, to point out starkly and plainly, ‘But the Emperor is naked. He hasn’t got any new clothes at all!’ If you haven’t read the original story by Hans Christian Anderson, you won’t quite get the point. The story isn’t just about peer pressure or mindless groupthink, but about ambition, pride, and fear. The scam artists who convince the Emperor to prance about in public naked do so by asserting that only the really wise, well-educated, and highly discerning can even see this exquisite garment. So the Emperor himself meekly pretends to appreciate this fictitious outfit, and everyone else in the kingdom does as well, lest they expose themselves as backward, ignorant Philistines.
"And that is precisely how our media culture of moral hysteria works. Those with prestige and power promulgate some brave new lie, such as Transgenderism, and those desperate to prove themselves to their peers and claw their way to the top join in. Only those with sufficient courage, and a healthy contempt for the censors, will speak up and shame the elites by telling the truth. The same applies for a wide array of topics where experts and authorities shamelessly lie to us…expecting our compliance out of fear.
Albin Sadar isn’t afraid, and his book mocks the propagandists. For that reason alone, you need to read it and pass it on. If cowardice is contagious, so is courage.
—John Zmirak, author of The Politically Incorrect Guide to Catholicism and many other books

—Lucas Miles, pastor, film producer, and author of Woke Jesus: The False Messiah Destroying Christianity
In the midst of a push for machiavellian totalitarianism, Sadar pokes holes in the ‘anti-reality shield’ that fear and social pressure have dropped over so many eyes. By having the courage to point, with simple questions and a smiling wit, he reminds us how to withstand the crazy. When the colossal gods of shame cow men down, simple sanity and ordinary sense is resistance.

Foreword
by Eric Metaxas
Everyone knows that one plus one equals two—and that two plus two equals four. What could be more obvious ? But in a world in which some people assert that two plus two may equal five, we suddenly find ourselves in an unprecedented situation. Either we are silent—and go along with the silly and yet pernicious lie—or we speak out. If we are silent in the face of what we must describe as evil, we help bring the whole world and everyone in it another rung lower down the ladder to tyranny and enslavement. But if we speak out, we stand against these lies, and we help the world climb its way back upward to the truth. What could be more important? Let me tell you: nothing . This book by my friend Albin Sadar is about doing the right thing in this regard. Obviously .
So we need to be clear about our current situation. We rather suddenly find ourselves living at a time when simply stating the obvious—for example, that two plus two equals four and cannot under any circumstances equal anything but four—has become a necessary and a heroic act. Indeed we are suddenly living at a time when saying many things that are still obvious to most of us has become necessary and heroic.
But the reason that stating what’s obvious—and true—is necessary and heroic is because each of us has a solemn duty to encourage others in the truth. This book means to be a part of that. This duty to encourage others toward the truth comes with our birthright as human beings. But if we are Americans it is even more important that we take the duty seriously, because American patriots have suffered and died for our right to speak freely. These rights are enshrined in our founding documents, and many have died so that they would stay in those documents. But if we are people of faith, we have an even deeper duty to speak the truth. Our duty is to God Himself, who is Truth.
So during those halcyon times in most of our lives until recently, when everyone was saying that two plus two equals four, saying it out loud didn’t matter very much. But when some adults suddenly begin to doubt this, or to say that there is no right answer, or that four is actually the wrong answer—thereby causing others to doubt the truth or to be themselves afraid to say what is true—then simply saying what is obvious—that two plus two equals four—becomes a serious thing and a vital thing. As we say, a necessary and a heroic thing. We are living in such a time.
Suddenly one thing after the other has become subject to the diabolical acid of deconstructive thinking. We are living at a time when the serpent is asking: Is that really true?
And saying: "Surely that is not true…" We are living at a time when Truth itself is under attack in a way that it has never been during our lifetimes. That is why we are talking about this right now—and why this book exists, and why right now—today and tomorrow and the next day—we must step up and do our very best to restate every obvious thing.
While we are on the subject of obvious things, let us here remember and say that men and women are made by God in His image and are therefore sacred and to be treated with dignity, under all circumstances. The color of their skin or their age or intellectual capacity is immaterial. Their simple status as human beings makes them sacred in a way we can never overstate. Human beings are different from shrubs or insects or cats or cattle. In many cultures this was not ever obvious, and it is still not obvious in many cultures today. But in modern Western culture—which has largely been Christian culture—it has always been obvious. Until lately.
It was also for centuries obvious that it is God’s will—or at least Nature’s very obvious design—that the overwhelming majority of men and women should unite in marriage for life and bring children into the world, and raise those children self-sacrificially, in loving families. These things were once so
