The Land is the fictional setting of the Uncharted series. To faithful readers, the Land is very real in the heart. This official guidebook is for those faithful readers who have asked for maps, for answers, for more. I hear you, friends.

I was thrilled to pick through my three-ring binders stuffed with sticky notes and taped-together index cards, the myriad Word documents I saved from writing each novel, and over a decade’s worth of coffee-stained notebooks filled with childish sketches of the Land and villages and characters’ homes to give you the best information on all things Uncharted.

Hopefully, this guidebook isn’t your first introduction to the Uncharted series. If it is, please know the details throughout, especially in the Characters section, may give away hints at stories you haven’t read yet.

At the time of this guidebook’s publication, Books 1-13 of the Uncharted series have been released. Have you read them all? (See the Reading Checklist at the beginning of this guidebook to make sure.) I’m currently writing Book 14. I plan to update this guidebook as more Uncharted books are born.

If you have read all the Uncharted books, save this guidebook to use as a refresher before each future book comes out, since I write a new Uncharted book about once a year.

No matter where you are in the Uncharted series—Welcome!

This guidebook is best enjoyed in your favorite chair, snuggled up with your favorite blanket or pet, while sipping your favorite beverage. However, if you, like so many Uncharted readers, are not in your most ideal circumstances, then take a slow breath and relax as best you can where you are.
