A Kingdom Mindset

Governments, in the context of our natural/physical political institutions, require diplomatic officials who may function as a link (a go-between) to foster good relations between states. One crucial component of diplomacy is assisting nations in communicating with one another, overcoming obstacles, and even reconciling when required.

We're dealing with more than just the natural/physical world. What about that other, equally essential realm? It's the spiritual dimension! We cannot, in my opinion, neglect the spiritual sphere. In fact, God has provided us with an opportunity to serve Him in a specific ministry assignment, to be one of His highest-ranking spiritual diplomatic ambassadors! Because of a crucial message that the apostle Paul sent to the Corinthians, the significance of this insight was impressed upon me.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19 is a passage from the book of 2 Corinthians. As a result, everybody who believes in Christ is a new creature: old things have passed away, and all things have become new. And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not impugning their trespasses unto them, and has committed the word of reconciliation to us.

The task is to minister in the ministry of reconciliation! Did you make any guesses on the official term for the highest-ranking diplomatic representative, as Webster's defines it?

If you haven't already, take a guess right now. As you read the following, keep your answer in mind:

2 Corinthians 5:22–23Now we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing to you through us: we ask that you be reconciled to God in Christ's name. For he caused him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, so that in him we could become the righteousness of God.

The spiritual diplomatic representative is known as a ambassador for Christ in the spiritual sphere. Listen, as on-fire, pure-hearted followers of Jesus Christ, we will possess the required character traits to serve as trustworthy ambassadors. Not for the goals of an earthly kingdom or government, but for the eternal purposes of God's Kingdom. Why? People are redeemed from their sins and reconciled to God so that they can become the righteousness of God in Him.

This isn't a trivial matter! Are we clear about this? Do we comprehend what a privilege it is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ as His ambassador, the highest ranked spiritual representative?

In light of all of this, I've been thinking about embassies in the spirit. Consider that, too, since that is how the Kingdom of God appears. Consider this: we are ambassadors for the Kingdom, and the Holy Spirit follows us wherever we go. We're connected to the Holy Spirit, just like ambassadors are to their own embassies! It's as if we're carrying around a spiritual embassy. I am in Heaven on Earth, with all of Heaven's advantages at my disposal, regardless of the country I am in. I've also been thinking about ambassadors and embassies, and how they work and interact in the natural and spiritual realms.

For example, the United States has embassies in a number of countries, where the US ambassador (and his or her staff) will dwell and/or have offices. When US residents visit a city or nation where our embassy is located, we have access to certain privileges (at our embassy) if the need arises. I have all of the rights, privileges, protection, and blessings that I have in the United States—as it's if I've just stepped into the country. In the natural/physical realm, embassies are housed in a building or a group of structures that are located on a specific plot of land inside specific boundaries and have a specific address. (In some ways, it's like its own tiny kingdom.) Because of its governing authority and jurisdiction, a US citizen in danger or in need of aid can seek assistance from the US embassy. Do you realize that, just as the US embassy has a ruling authority by its very nature, you, as a born again member of the body of Christ, do as well?

I say this because practically everyone has a home or a domicile, and some even have a home on a plot of land. Over our home/land, we each have governing authority. My land, for example, is defined by a property line, and what city hall refers to as my house is my kingdom (so to speak). You are in the same boat. So here's the deal: the devil has no power in my realm. Because I assert my power, no epidemic, sickness, or disease can enter. I stay firm, rule my property, and declare it to be my kingdom—the property that the Lord has bestowed upon me. You are both governed by the same authority.

Let's take this controlling power notion a step further in the context of the land that the Lord desires us to take in the nations. As a result, no matter where we travel, we can witness magnificent miracles. The enemy's plans are doomed to fail on the battlefield. In Heaven, there are no deafness, blindness, or cripples; God's Kingdom! God's Kingdom is Near and Within Our Reach

Because the Kingdom of God is God's will being done on earth, such testimonies are Heaven on Earth.

8:16 Matthew When the evening arrived, they brought those who were afflicted by devils to him, and he cast out the spirits with his word, healing all who were sick:

12:15 Matthew But when Jesus realized it, he retreated from the area: and a large crowd followed him, and he healed everyone;

4:40 in Luke As the sun began to set, all those who were suffering with various diseases brought them to him, and he put his hands on each of them and healed them.

6:19 in Luke And the whole crowd flocked to touch him, for he exuded goodness and healed everyone.

The healing of every sickness and disease is God's will, and it is the earthly manifestation of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 6:9–10 As a result, pray in this manner: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Come, thy kingdom. As it is in heaven, thy will be done on earth.

The Kingdom of God is God's will manifested on earth, and Heaven serves as our model. Miracles, miracles, and wonders are byproducts of living in the supernatural realm.

5:19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself except what he sees the Father do: for whatever the Father doeth, the Son also doeth.

We must wait, listen, and watch what the Father is doing, since Heaven will come when God's will is done on earth. However, in order to execute God's will, we must first see— see what our Father has been up to, so that we can be about the Father's business and do what He is up to. This is how Heaven and Earth can be brought into harmony. We get a revelation that the Kingdom of God is at hand when we witness what the Father does and do what the Father does, and this is how near it is—like it's a membrane.

10:7 in Matthew And wherever you go, preach, proclaiming that the kingdom of heaven is near.

12:34 (Mark) When Jesus noticed that man answered quietly, he told him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. After that, no one dared to ask him a question.

Luke 17:20–21 When the Pharisees asked him when the kingdom of God would come, he said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they cry, Lo here! or Lo there! Because, see, God's kingdom is within you.

1 Thessalonians 1:20 Which he accomplished in Christ by raising him from the dead and placing him at his right side in the celestial realms,

1:27 Colossians Whom God wishes to reveal the riches of this mystery's glory among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

6:19 in 1 Corinthians What? Do you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you, and that you are not your own?

How many times do we imagine Heaven descending during worship? Heaven, please! Hallelujah! Please, God, take me to Heaven. Do you realize how simple it is to enter the Kingdom of Heaven? According to the Bible, the Kingdom of God is near; you are not far from it; and the Kingdom is inside you. Heavenly abodes can be found right here! I am the Holy Spirit's temple. It's as if our hearts open the way to spirituality. Some of you are hoping for the healing anointing to descend on you or for a man of God to lay hands on you, yet the Bible says your miracle comes from within.

You're Dangerous if You Have a Kingdom Mindset! I am grateful to God for the opportunity to minister in the healing ministry. Do you recall when my life began to change?

8:11 (Romans) However, if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also revive your mortal bodies through his Spirit.

The reality of God's Word became ingrained in my being. I began to have a Kingdom perspective and carry the Kingdom in my heart. So, right now, I am bearing the Kingdom, as I speak with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I'm dangerous, and you're dangerous if you're carrying the Kingdom! Your mortal flesh will be quickened and brought to life by the spirit within you. The anointing of healing is in you, just as it is in me! The Holy Spirit desires for us to have a Kingdom perspective right now, not just in the future. Yes, that is a part of it, but the Kingdom of Heaven is near, and the Kingdom of God is here within you, right now. The Kingdom of God is as it is in Heaven on Earth. And I had the faith to believe that it is God's intention for me to have prophetic experiences every day after receiving a revelation of what it's like in Heaven right now. In fact, I've reached such a level of Kingdom awareness that I'm now living in my inheritance. I'm not going to hold my breath for it in the future. How much of God
