About this ebook
As a child, Amanda can see pictures in the clouds and spends hours imagining stories about the wispy apparitions. When she tells her mother she wishes she could be a writer, her wish is overheard. A stranger gives her an antique pen, along with the advice to take good care of it, and Amanda's creativity flourishes.
Years later, however, she learns success has a price, with a cost that is more than she is willing to pay. With help from a childhood friend and a telepathic cat, Amanda fights for her life. As the battle rages, she finds that love has many forms and comes from all directions.

Chapter One
Amanda squinted and pointed toward the sky. Look, Momma. There’s a giant cat!

Yep. Jonah and I are going to be famous authors.
The pair watched the giant cat, until she disappeared. Amanda reached for her mother’s hand, and they strolled through the maze of tables at the County Fairgrounds.
